  1. What kind of show do you think troop's gonna come out with for'11? Apparently, they have an all new design staff this year.
  2. If 2010 was an option, i would vote for it 5 million times. this year was amazing for the scouts
  3. coming from the perspective of the bottom of the 23 corps, who do you think suprised you the most this season? Not just the top 12, but all of the corps in general.
  4. 1. Carolina Crown 2. Blue Devils 3. Bluecoats 4. The Cadets 5. Phantom Regiment 6. Santa Clara Vanguard 7. Cavaliers 8. Blue Stars 9. Madison Scouts 10. Boston Crusaders 11. Glassmen 12. Blue Knights 13. Spirit 14. Crossmen 15. The Colts 16. Troopers 17. Academy 18. Pacific Crest 19. Teal Sound 20. Cascades 21. Mandarins 22. Jersey Surf 23. Pioneer
  5. Wow! Maybe it's because it's the beginning of the year, but some of these rankings are pretty crazy. Cavaliers at 7th!? Very interesting. But it's nice to see Bluecoats near the top
  6. 1. Carolina Crown 2. The Cadets 3. Blue Devils 4. Phantom Regiment 5. Bluecoats 6. Cavilers 7. Santa Clara Vanguard 8. Blue Stars 9. Boston Crusaders 10. Troopers 11. Glassmen 12. Madison Scouts 13. Blue Knights 14. The Academy 15. Crossmen 16. Colts 17. Spirit 18. Mandarins 19. Cascades 20. Jersey Surf 21. Pacific Crest 22. Teal Sound 23. Pioneer Just some thoughts. Some favoritism with my own corps, but everyone's season looks promising.
  7. Of course, I am extremly excited to tour for the first time. I am excited to see what drum corp is all about, and what every corps show is.
  8. Wishin I wasn't on the West Coast hope tomorrow turns out great!
  9. I love these! Phantom rockin the all white again!
  10. I don't know about this show...It doesn't seem like a show that will win. Then again, BD is extremely talented and the show design doesn't define how good a corps is, but this year just doesn't seem like BD's year.
  11. So I just stumbled upon this topic today, and I totally think corps loyality is seriously lacking. This is my first year marching with the Cascades, and I honestly can't think of marching anywhere else. People give me crap, saying "They suck. They're the wrst corp" and it really pains me, but I havent even left for tour and the corps is pretty much a part of my family now. If talented people stayed with the same corps, there would be a lot of talented corps out there.
  12. Of course since I'm new to Drum Corp, my opinion might be a uneducated, but I think Crown will win. There show title gives me a feeling like the want to win, and they were so close last season. I think after them, Cavies will take 2nd. Their show design looks awesome! Next is BD (because they HAVE to be in the top 3), then Cadets and Vanguard taking 4th and 5th (depending on the outcome).
  13. Definetly Cadets. They've been sporting the same thing for 76 years and they still look amazing! Also, I know it's kinda going against what a lot of people have been saying, but I really enjoy BD's newest uniforms. I love the leg cape (don't know what it's really called, but it's cool!)
  14. I agree. For me, Drum Corp shows really become more alive when there is a true theme, or even a story, for a show. You can connect to what is going on with the music and the visual forms. My marching band did a show based around the film and graphic novel "V for Vendetta" and it was by FAR the best show we ever did. We got 4th that year, but mutiple amounts of people who were in the Top 3 said we should have won it.
