Now I'm questioning a new ending if The Cadets are right up to the gun now as far as show time duration.
-
Two points is a solid lead despite that percussion loss which I'm sure they will pay for tomorrow at rehearsal.

I watched the fan network download of San Antonio. They are starting to march like Cadets. They will be a very well oiled machine in 3 weeks. -

Cadets are starting their late season surge. -
Can Bluecoats win gold?
theCHEZman replied to zigzigZAG's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
It's about program construction and performance levels that matter, not patriotism, Italian cinema or outer space. Not sure how drumcorps fans can watch the Cadets or any of these high performing corps and not just appreciate the level of artistry and virtuosity and not whine about I'm tired of Copland or hate this or that group. -
But you compare everything to the seamless flow of INT.

Lots of testosterone there..

BD's entire visual DNA at this point is better described as "effective" but hardly amazing. I would call Cavies early 2000's or some of Cadets classics as amazing. -

Unfortunately, the corps that wins sets the tone and since BD has dominated and has been rewarded, the era of amazing drill has been replaced with furniture and ramps. -
Not sure why I thought the color changes were going to be very readable over the broadcast but I so like what I can perceive. I think the blue cummerbunds will need to be viewed live to appreciate. I kind of think they need that really powerful ending in and then just keep working with tempos and cleaning. You can appreciate how well written this show is by the lack of big changes.

I don't think Cavies touch them and I do think they stay over SCV.
-
My concern are the GE scores. That is the caption you want to crank in. Add in a low guard and percussion score, we've got some work to do...several weeks left do I'm not concerned. It's a strong show with tons of demand so cleaning takes time.

I think there are several guards out there with high demand. -
Very interested in seeing the uniform changes tomorrow night. When does the new ending go in?
-
If Crown were to best Cadets, I think it wouldn't be in SA. Closing gaps and overtaking someone above you especially at a regional takes some time. In the end, I think Cadets have a better shot at overtaking BD than Crown overtaking Cadets this season but of course, that's my opinion.
-
Who do they overtake?

1. BD 2. Cadets 3. Crown 4. Bluecoats 5. SCV 6. Cavies 7. PR 8. Boston 9. BK 10. Blue Stars 11. Madison 12. Crossmen

Bloo should be winning GE over SCV and should be close to Crown. These numbers seem more in line with reality.
-
Probably cleaned which add clarity and boost all captions.

How did we even get Al (may I have another cheeseburger) Gore into a DCP thread?
