Crowd liked Mandarins. Several gave a standing ovation. Overall pretty nice. Drumline solid but you can tell the corps is young. -

I just arrived for Pioneer. Will only be here for a few corps. I like Pioneers heart. Really small this year but using what they have pretty well. -

Shows to be off air. -
I don't know about east coast inflation, but the partial panels have to be impacting scores. Until full panels are used it is more difficult to get a handle on where everyone is. I do think the "East Coast" tour corps are crowd favorites. Most reviews of the shows are very positive indicating a quality of product. That being said this could be a very strong season for Drum Corps as the organizations seem to have taken it to a new level in quality.

Bones!

Go Bones! Based on July 1st scores from around the country Xmen are right in the thick of things. They are chasing a clump of four corps: Blue Stars, Blue knights, Spirit, and Troopers who are 3.6 points to 1.9 ahead of Xmen. This is much better than last year when I do not believe they were ever head of Colts, Glassmen, or Academy. Things are already more competitive for Bones, They just need to keep working.

Quincy Show and "Off the Record" CYO program
Frogman87 replied to ironlips's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
I'm in Cambridge through Friday. I was thinking about trying to make the Quincy show, but I'm a visitor to Boston and have no idea how to get around. I see the subway goes to Quincy but is the station close to the stadium? Any help on how to get down there fairly easily would be appreciated. Thanks. -
Sorry about the spelling error in the title. Dang.

Based on Week 1, is there anyone new that some of you think will break into the top 8? The Scouts sure seem to have alot going in the right direction so far. Who else and who would fall out?

Crossmen scored 63.7. I wonder why Bones hasn't gained any traction yet.
-
Not sure why, but they did not post partials last season either.
-
Read the same thing on Twitter. Standing O for them has to be a great shot in the arm for the corps.
-
I'm glad three corps were able to perform! The more run throughs the better especially for xmen. I'm hopeful Bones will really come on this year. Glad the drum line is groovin already.
-
Wow, surprised at the spread.
-
Greatness!

Read a Tweet that Bones went on at 8:49

I hope you are right. Good luck Crossmen!

In ya'lls opinion what does a corps like Crossmen, with a long history and a struggling present, need to do to increase retention? Will the staff changes make a difference? Obviously I'm from Texas using the "ya'll" term. LOL.
