  1. Ok maybe two days of visual and non stop cleaning have helped--keep it up BLOOOO!
  2. ok way to go Bloo --things are righting themselves. keep it up
  3. I find it hard to believe that the guard scored that low after other shows scoring higher--they have new people heading the caption and this score seems like a throwback to the last few years when they scored in this range. Can it be that the judges are indeed lazy and just putting them where they have been these past years? it all seems too familiar and predictable and it shouldn't be.
  4. Go BLOO--you have a lot of fans loving this show!!
  5. I have to agree--something is just wrong about so much of this--someone needs to explain how this is happening--so consistent in the placement of corps year after year--
  6. first show for me this season!! Looking forward to all but especially the Bluecoats!! I hope they build on the excitement of Bristol and TILT even more to the top!!!
  7. They will compete tonight in Lynn with, I believe, a full judging panel. And with all the rain finally done it should be an exciting night.
  8. Bluecoats for me and hope they keep the momentum for the best surprise in Indy
  9. Great night at Bristol RI. Way to go Guard. Keep the momentum going
  10. I was at Bristol last year and grass was very tough. It really hurt Cadets and those towers. Very high thick grass the fireworks were great though and the Bluecoats played encore with them as a background
  11. Wow. And Bluecoats' guard got first! This could be a great season for the Bluecoats for sure
  12. I had friends who saw Akron show live and said Bluecoats by far in their opinion had the best ending--They said the guard seemed much improved from past years--They also loved Crown and Phantom--I am so looking forward to this season.
  13. Love it i can't wait to see this show--all the best to the Bluecoats!!
  14. Just a modest request to change the title of this thread--there isn't much silence anymore--if posible
  15. Bluecoats just put this video up--no glimpse into any of the show--but pretty inspirational "VIDEO: It's easy to get lost in spring training until we remember why we're here in the first place. Then we push harder. http://youtu.be/rGzsJ5vLkR4
  16. I truly hope few will respond to all these opinions one by one--it will be more Felliniesque than The Blue Devils show, which looks like it is going to be great.
  17. I am hoping TILT puts them at the top three this year!
  18. I like the look--last years uniform was so dark, like the little splash of white this will give them on the field
  19. If you check out the poster for their show--the triangular shape on the side of it is the shape of the ramps--I got a view of one of them and see they have incorporated it in the poster--also their instagram feed is pretty impressive #canton_bluecoats--they have a drone camera--in one of their videos they have this overhead shot of the campus they are at and I wondered how they did that. This feels like it's going to be a great year for the Bluecoats indeed.
  20. It seems they are really putting a lot more updates and photos and videos online this year. Maybe they have someone focused just on this. I noticed the posts on Facebook, their daily schedule. It definitely is getting me in summer mode, already anticpating some of the shows i am going to see. Awesome start.
  21. all the movies mentioned are on Netflix--DVDs not streaming
  22. Fellini films to add to your list La Strada--(the Pope said it was is favorite film)--there is a great scene where the main character is at her lowest,, and all of a sudden a band of 3 or 4 men come marching by--and she follows them to a festival--when the Blue Devils announced their show I thought of that scene--and then she watches a high wire act--also thought of blue devils--some great Fellinesque moments in this film Roma--a great movie of rome The Nights Of Cabiria--another great Fellini movie (the musical Sweet Charity is based on it) 8 and 1/2--one of the more "Felliniesque" movies I vitelloni--loved this one too Hope this helps--I hope the Blue Devils pick up on Fellini's love of whimsy and his love of circus like atmospheres in some of his movies
