  3. For anyone in northern New York this Saturday the Grenadiers will be particpating in the French Festival Celebrations in the Cape. It is a beautiful spot and a great family day. The corps will be doing the parade and a concert later on in the day. ManoMan eh...... I can`t believe it is this far in the season without a DCA gig but we will see you all in Endicott finally!   7. We are looking at getting those Grennies Eh.........t`s back in circulation. They were very popular. Grennies just finished a great weekend outdoors. The weather was really good.   8. We had our evalution take place in March. The demands put on a organization in our activity are substantial. I believe the evalution process to be a valid means to support both the corps and the association.I spent most of the weekend discussing other issues relating to DCA and not just the Grenadiers. Some issues I was a little rusty on and was happy to garner the info first hand. In the end it is only fair that if this is due process then everyone should be involved. Cheers Don
  9. Next Grenadier camp is coming up on the 19th/20 of April. This will be our last music camp before we take it outside. We only have a couple of spots on brass and a couple to fill in the percussion section.Other than that its off to Buffalo for our return on July 12th.   11. There is an upside for sure. Just keep the faith and stay busy doing something. Run the corps as you would and take time to tie up loose ends and Sunrisers will return to the field. Best of luck! Cheers Don Dean
  12. Great news congrats. Grenadiers percussion section will performing this weekend at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester. We are really excited and pleased at the opportunity and also to get back on the field this summer. I am really looking forward to catching up with our comrades in DCA. Don

  14. Yes folks camp #2 this weekend in the fair city of Kingston On. Canada. The Canadian Dollar is not the only thing doing well across the border! We are also looking forward to knocking off another chunk of this years production. All sections are doing well and the staff as usual is well prepared. Need more info?   15. Sounds like good stuff for sure. A number of years ago we were prepared to do Beatles stuff the music rights were crazy. Perhaps it has changed.

  19. The big weekend is finally in sight as we take our first step towards returning to DCA. Thanks to everyone for the support. The turn out looks great and the staff well prepared. We still have a few annoucements to make with respect to staffing as well. I know Dougie O will be happy to reclaim his basement and issue those horns this weekend.
