  1. So are you, Fran! I was just having some fun with you! So, uh, see you in Wildwood next June .
  2. I can't wait to hear PC tell us WE!!!!!! may enter the field for competition. It'll be a nice change from that guy wit the funny shirts all the time .

  4. Looks good so far http://www.weather.com/weather/wxdetail/USNJ0546?dayNum=3&&?=
  5. So if you plan on buying your tix on Saturday, spring for reserved if there are any left
  6. I predict I WILL make it to the Premio Sausage truck for a sammich before they run out this year .
  7. I'll vouch for that - Much bigger than last year, and certainly bigger than Monday night's DCI show in Bridgeport. Granted, that was a Monday night, the good seats were twenty-five bucks (Which was worth it just for Scouts and Xmen alone!), and, living 25 minutes from the stadium I saw ZERO local marketing, but I'm just sayin'. Not quite back up to the days when it was packed endzone to endzone, but a really impressive mob o' folks, nonetheless!
  8. All I'm saying is this doesn't give a kid in Texas, or Iowa, or Guam for that matter, any more opportunity than what they already have - It's probably a shorter flight to San Francisco or to St Paul for a kid from Texas than to Philly then on to Allentown, right? More corps = . It's just that, though - More corps, not suddenly an opportunity that didn't exist before,
  9. See, Ace, I prefer YOUR attitude. As far as giving younger players a chance, though, uh, they already have that with every already-existing DCA corps. But if it can help drive more folks to shows AND maybe raise the bar a bit, then I'm sure all for it!
  10. Twenty bucks for twelve corps?! That's the deal of the summer, folks! I'll probably even go now. Oh wait . I'll be selling tix then putting on my Magic Caballero Suit. So save me some time - Buy your tix now; www.crowntickets.com, the easiest ticket ordering site on the web (A ton easier than the one for Monday's DCI show in Bridgeport - Sheesh, that was a wierd one ).
  11. To which I would add - Crossmen, aaaahhhh, nice
  12. 48 hours to drum corps' version o' Jersey Shore fer me & the Mrs . Hope we see a BUNCH o' youse there!
  13. 6)Lotsa cool stuff to buy at the corps' souvie tables!
  14. THAT'S the one I;m waiting for - I intend to have the kleenex at hand Yeah, I'm just an old softy, especially when it comes to remembering how lucky I was to have known Cos.
  15. For whomever did not realize it, IT'S WILDWOOD WEEK, FOLKS !!!!!
  16. I still hold vehemently that mint is by far the best Kohr's flavor. But to each his own . So, anyway, you can find out for yourself if you're in Wildwood like us cool people next weekend (Figured I'd try a little peer pressure ),
  17. Sorry I slacked off a bit - I was teaching a class at work today, so had limited computer access So, uh yeah - 9 days!!!! Got my motel reservation, the usual Friday-night-before-hanging-out-at-rehersal dinner reservation, and can already taster the Kohr's custard (mint, folks, trust me, it's awesome!). Get your tickets folks!
  18. "I cant think of a better way to start the season!" Me neither!!!!!
  19. Cool! Down to one baritone! And, with that amazing guard staff, I can't imagine you'll have the guard openings for long! (I don't mean to slight the percussion folks, but what do I know about drums and such? I'm an old horn player married to a guard chick ;-) ).
  20. And those of us who've been lucky enough to have shared the field with you are totally stoked to see you back out there
