  2. Unfortunately for the Class A Cadets, they will be heading home heartbroken, as they missed out on finals by one spot. The Open Class Regiment made some sizable changes to their program in hopes to sneak into the finals, but they didn't pan out, and the corps dropped into 19th. However, a lot of younger talent in the middle level of the organization gives them high hopes for next season! Finally, the World Class Armada were able to clean up their program and jump up to 9th place and into finals! With only 0.5 separating them from the leaders, they hope to take this momentum and channel it into one final performance. Overall, it's been a solid season for the Scarlet Corps. Congratulations to all the other organizations out there- and good luck to those competing tonight!
  3. I agree with everyone that said this year is such an amazing year for all these drumlines. Having said that, I would have to choose SCV in the category of focusing solely on drum breaks (disclaimer: I love any drum break Paul Rennick writes)- but if we were talking about the entire drum book, I would take BD hands down.
  4. My immediate thoughts (which you shouldn't put too much stock in, but here they are anyways): -I don't think the BD-Cadets spread was justified. BD deserved the win, no doubt, but not by that much. -BLOO was right where they should be. Some more cleaning, and they could still challenge for second at least. -The gap between fifth and sixth is a bit smaller. Is there a chance that could get interesting? Maybe not, but we shall see. -I'm glad that BK jumped Phantom, and with a lot of cleaning, I could see BAC (whose show I LOVE) sneaking up there too. -Colts overtaking Spirit by more than a point, even with crappy narration, makes me happy. Love Spirit, do not love their show this season. -OC's score upset me a bit- I'm sure their slot didn't help, but I still felt they did better than their score indicated. -And lastly... what a great event.
  5. Yeah, multi-cam stopped working for me. Kept freezing, then listed video as unavailable, and jumped back to the beginning of the feed whenever I restarted it. However, I tried high cam and it appears to be working fine.
  6. Really dig the writing in the drum break, up until the very end. Also, the close-up on the angry-looking female guard member was pretty entertaining. I really liked the show overall. And nice uniforms!
  7. I don't know if it was supposed to be an arc when the battery set their drums down, but if it was, they need to watch that more closely, it looked funky.
  8. I enjoyed that! Though I agree the uniform change was a bit irritating, especially since I liked the uniforms they had on originally.
  9. Due to my being away, this is the first full event I've watched via webcast that I've watched all year. Excited to see some corps that I haven't even seen yet! And, there are some great storylines to watch for. Go BLOO!
  10. After floundering in the standings for the majority of the season due to a mysterious leave of absence from their directors (also known as me being away almost all summer ), the Scarlet group of corps have made some significant changes to their shows and are hoping to come on strong at the finish. Good luck to all today!

  12. Some pretty large changes to our world class show seem to have payed off last night. The kids are excited to build on this newfound success, and are hoping to be more competitive from here on out.
  13. Glad that turnout is finally getting back on track! I was worried there for a second. I'm currently working on getting a couple of new guys signed up in time as well.

  17. Though I hated it at first, I gotta go with Cabaret Voltaire. Never thought I would say that. Angels and Demons/Machine tied for second.
  18. Personally, I found it absolutely hilarious. Lighten up, folks. There's literally nothing to be offended at.
  19. Planning on auditioning for Crossmen this year- but, as school and whatnot prohibit me from actually marching a full season yet, just for the experience.
  20. LOL at the two Scouts trying to figure out where the tunnel cam is.
