I would not be. I believe it is the competitive nature of DCI that instills the character in the drum corps members. However I think there is room for improvement on the entertainment factor. But that is another discussion.

Yes since 2008. BDB i am sure will be in the top twenty but are there thoughts on SCVC and Genesis making it too.

Congrads to Genesis for a come from behind effort to take the bronze medal! SCVC and BDB put on a fantastic show! I am going to predict that at least 3 OCs will break WCs top twenty.

If the judges can get together on general effect scores, although not literally, Genesis should place third with their very technically difficult show that has been very well executed.

I am at the venue and DCI has now decided the show must go on since the weather has cleared

Light rain but a fair amount of lightning. Genesis was the last corps to perform.

Does anybody have a prediction on who will take the bronze medal?

Can Genesis hold off 7th Regiment, Spartans and Gold for the battle for the bronze? Will SCVC keep BDB from matching a gold medal win with BD in World Class? And will three Open Class corps move into the top 20 of World Class instead of one like last season? This is shaping up to be a pretty interesting finals week for Open Class! Anyone have another angle on this?

It looks like BDB and SCVC will solidify their positions as Genesis and the Spartans battle it out for the third spot going into finals. Looks like a repeat of last season but exciting nevertheless with Gold, 7th Regiment and Music City still in play. This is truly a very competitive season and one Open Class should be proud of.

So am I missing something, is SCVC music program really that much better than Genesis? Genesis music program seems to be way ahead of the others in Open Class. -
Genesis has a fantastic show. I have seen it three times and it gets intense with each show. Any thoughts?

Since there was not a full complement of judges on hand was there an attempt to compensate ?

Can someone explain why certain captions were not scored at the Dixon, IL show? The score sheet did not include some captions.
