We have seen all of the corps a number of times this season and the BD show is incredible to watch. It is once again unique and in an activity that strives for innovative material, it is amazing that the BD staff and members consistently find it. Looking forward to Indy, should be a good one! Go BD

Oops Hit an exposed nerve, sorry no intention! I need to make it clear that I really like the Cadets show and am very much looking forward to seeing it again today in San Antonio. Clearly Cadets, are working very very hard and the results are clear for all to see. In addition, there is also doubting the a round abilities of BD and that shines though to me too Competition is a good thing all round

I was present at last nights show in Houston. I have seen both BD and Cadets a number if times now and the styles are so different it's hard to compare. You just feel though as if Cadets have thrown all they can onto their show and now are running as hard as they can, in the hope that the Blue Devils, who are cruising along on their shoulder don't decide to make a home stretch kick and overtake them with no way to respond. BD are so very creative and talented, it's their choice what to do. Well, we will see in a few weeks ! Just an aside : We saw SCV for the first time, It is actually the Cavaliers in an SCV uniform. What happened to The Vanguard unique style?

I have seen BD and Cadets a few times this summer and watched both again last night. As a result I was compelled to go back and look at shows by these corps from prior years, as a comparison. The conclusion that I came to (My opinion of course) is that BD are always coming out with something new, every year they are fresh and push the activity a few more inches (or yards) forward. Cadets on the other hand, have added a few more notes to the music to make it more complicated but in essence their show this year has a look, sound and feel which is exactly the same as shows from 15 years ago. Maybe that is what the community wants ie 'The good old days' ? If not, then I really don't get how BD are not winning by a mile. Maybe the crowd wants a change in champion which is ok as long as it is earned, otherwise the title has no value. Just an opinion!

We are all very excited to see this years production! The only thing I know is that it is going to be incredible, because it always is!

I agree totally with the statement that Blue Devils shows are exceptionally deep in all respects. They really are an incredible organization in that every year they appear to me anyway, to be head and shoulders above all other corps in terms of both concept and content. All of the top corps have talented performers of that there there is no question but BD clearly have the unique creative ability and skill to compose and teach the concept theme, in a way that is somehow special. The result is an annual 'Avant Garde' production which I for one feel privileged to see, when I can (I live in the East) This of course is purely my opinion! This is a great time of year for DC fans as we anticipate the unveiling of the new series of drum corps productions from all parts of the country. Clearly there are some very talented individuals in the activity and as a result the shows are all so very different and the activity progresses and benefits year after year. It's going to be a great season of Drum Corps.so lets enjoy it and when in the stadium, please support ALL of the young performers. They ALL deserve it.

The whole of Blue Devils show which was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!

No question IMO The Blue Devils by a mile I have been involved with and watching drum corps for more than 30 years and this years Blue Devils show may well be the best of all time. It simply has everything! For those of us who have been fortunate enough to see their production this year, we leave the stadium knowing that it's BD leading the way then a big, big gap before everyone else. Can't wait to see them 'again this week in Indy Cudos also to Bluecoats and Boston Crusaders who have also stepped out of the box to bring us something new and fresh
