So since you're calling naming names, let me be perfectly clear. I used to be a huge fan and supporter. No longer. I'm not trashing the corps, I'm trashing the administration and staff. The corps and it's mess is not one that any top rated talent wants to be a part of. Just ask them.

Wouldn't refer to what they said as promoting. Was very poorly stated. It was embarrassing. Actually sums up so much of what has been said on this thread. Just a suggestion, maybe the p r guys should be more careful as to who is being interviewed.

Yeah, like an overhaul of the entire organization, starting at the top. It's time for a complete rebuild and a new regime. Except for 2007, 2008 (champion, but .25 isn't exactly a run away),and 2010 (great music and equally great drill; one that was almost to difficult to pull off) it's been a rocky road since, but seems to definitely be on a slippery slope.

i"ll repeat, when is enough enough. These kids give it their all and have to ride all night, for the most part to another site. And you're expecting more from them. That's kinda selfish, don't you think.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. There are digital instruments that are capable of copying the stops on a mechanical or electric piston pipe organ so precisely that even some trained organists admit to not being able to discern the difference.

Weber is one of the best in the business. 2011 show was imho one of the best written shows in relation to the music I've seen in a while. It's too bad that the music the show was based on was so out of grasp for a lot of people. And 2011 wasn't one of SCV's best as far as brass goes. Would love to hear this years brass play it. It still remains one of my fav shows
