I don't follow the cadets that closely, what transpired during Hopkins exit, a link would be fine if nothing else.

I wouldn't say that SCV and BD will beat them just yet, watching all the shows on YT I think Bloo has the most well designed product I've seen so far. I haven't had to say this in the last few years but I think the Bloo battery is leaving some points on the field while the hornline is spectacular, and possibly the best so far at this point. Let's keep watching and see what happens :)

I thought Crown's singer was terrific, that last movement was incredible, wish the electronics would of held up during finals. Frankly, I didn't think she would be topped for some time in DCI, but Bloo's singer has done that. I'm not a fan of vocals in drum corps but done well it's refreshing.

I don't think we have to worry about BD and SCV bringing it. I feel Bluecoats might peak too early like last year. Crown was a lot dirtier and the score was so close. Personally, I don't think BD or SCV have anything to worry about, although I don't care for BD's show this year - they will most likely be 1-2 at the end of the season. Edited just now by queenanne_1536 Yeah, we will have to watch BD and SCV, I like Bloo's chances after seeing it, Crown might be more of a threat than the west coast corps from what I've seen so far.

After watching the show at the theater last night and rewatching the shows today, the west coast corps better bring it, Crown and Bloo were very polished and fielded amazing show design concepts. I really feel that Bloo might be the gold medal show this year, hornline...excellent, singer....excellent, guard.....good enough, drumline......good enough, one of the most artistic show designs I've seen in drum corps in 40 years of watching and being involved the activity. Be interesting to watch BD and Vanguard this weekend.

Crown was incrediable, best use of a singer in DCI ever, her performance was spectacular...and I'm a Bloo alum and fan.

BD or Crown for 1st, depends on the judging panel, SCV's hornline didn't help them tonight, Coats still might win percussion.

Crown has the most complete show, singer or not, fantastic performance.

The Cadets have improved alot! Difficult show but not going to bring anyone to their feet.

I agree, Bloo has a much more engaging show, the odd meter horn work needs a bit more cleaning and a more settled feel.
