I 100% agree with the Cadets finishing 4th. Their visual execution was sub-par (relative to the top 3), as was their color guard. These issues bleed into GE. I had them 4th all three nights. Their show, on the other hand, was remarkable for what they were attempting. I loved this show - one of my favorites, but the execution just wasn't there (visually).

I cannot believe Crown did not win guard.

None of these three are doing it for me this year. Something turned with the Cadets between Minneapolis and now for me. Bloo is good and interesting but I feel I've seen it enough - same with BD.

Excuse me officer, Phantom's drill is absolutely not more challenging than BK's.

I think I'm going to skip Cadets, Bloo and BD and go back and watch Madison, Phantom and BK - my three favorite shows this year.

I will also this singing in BK's show is the only singing I've ever liked. It's beautiful. WHat a great show BK put on this year. Love it.

I think Madison and Phantom are a notch above Cavaliers.

I agree. Madison's overall package is better and they are executing it at a higher level IMO.

Such a great visual package. That end totally makes me tear up. Such a magnificent show. My favorite of the year, hands down!

I have felt this way at times too. Especially in 2012 and 2013 when I felt they should have beaten the Cavies at finals both seasons. But, I look back on those seasons and the design just wasn't there, especially in 2013 for them to compete through a a whole season. This year, I absolutely think they are getting the credit they deserve. I was shell-shocked that Blue Stars beat them in Minneapolis. Now they are going into finals ahead of Cavies. That's remarkable. I will be happy regardless of where they finish this year, because this is IMO their best designed product since 2005, at least. It is far better than anything put out in the Mason Era. I will be doing cart wheels down my street if they end up in 7th, but I do not think that is going to happen. Regardless, they have set themselves up so well going into next season, and I am madly in love with this year's show.

Actually, Scouts are my #1 and I think they could jump Phantom, but the Cavies could also top them. Just being realistic.

I'm not sure I understand the rationale here? Blue Stars have not surprised anyone. In fact, they are a lot lower than people thought they would be before the season started, and during the season. People had them beating Phantom and Cavies by finals. They are going to place 11th or 12th tonight, so I'm not sure how they have turned up the heat.
