I honestly prefer literal stories. The last couple years of the Colts (I'm biased), I loved the plot. Shows like 2014 Cavies, 2014 Blue Stars, 2016 Academy are also great examples of corps that tell a story without major "plot points" so to speak, but they still tell an easily followed story. I did not follow 2014 Crown, and their show this year is frankly confusing...

take care of yourself. There's a Colt currently marching while recovering from a torn ACL prior to the season. He's doing very well and taking the extra efforts to take care of himself as needed. It may not be easy during the season, but it has been done before.

Their visual is very impressive. I personally don't have an issue with the amount of playing their horn line does.

I saw them for the first time last night. I was very impressed with the show, and they are definitely a contender for finals. Personally, I think that the Colts have a better drill, and Troop has a better horn line... but I think it can easily be debated that their show concept is better than Troop, Colts, and Boston. It'll be exciting to see where the chips land at the end of the season. Good job kids!

The stadium was renovated in the around 2010, I believe... It is a GREAT venue! Definitely one of the top high school stadiums I have ever marched in, and has to be one of the best high schools in the league.

Well... I'd rather see everyone safe... With this system, they might need to take shelter. Luckily, there's large buildings by that stadium.

but really though... I was there in 2014, and it seemed like a hurricane. It rained so hard, but we went out and played in the lot anyway... Then it stopped raining at the end of the Jersey Surf show and a rainbow came out just in time for for "The Dark Side of the Rainbow"

In my random withdrawal from drum corps, I literally just purchased tickets to DCI Minnesota...

I'm seriously think about leaving to randomly attend... the venue is 2 hours away... I wouldn't get home until the a.m though. But I'm seriously missing the activity.

I'm not defending the boxes because I haven't seen them live in full use. I've seen a few videos and last night's periscope of the show, and from the stream, I could see shadows through the video at some points in the show... but I hope they either scrap them or improve them somehow.

Honestly, I think Boston has a little to worry about. I personally don't really like their show this year because I don't think it raises the bar for them. Groups like Colts and Troopers are making huge strides with memorable shows. I'm very excited to see what happens later at regionals.

Rome is a great show as a performer! The crowd is great and the surrounding communities are so supportive of the activity!

I THINK just the GE, Visual, and Music... isn't that part of the "secret recap thing?"

I honestly don't see 3 points between Colts and the Troopers. and I totally agree with the 76 for Crown
