I said the same thing when I first seen Crown and believe George Dixon agreed that the visual is vanilla and sterile. Having watched a video up high of CrownBEAT with the volume off, the forms are not being interpreted by the MM’s. Lots of individual marching issues too. Pretty unforgivable from up high. On the other hand BAC was much more cleaner and readable from the same camera angle. After seeing both shows from the same night and camera angle, the spread should have been more between the two corps.

I’m no sound engineer but have noticed three boom stand microphones, center is higher than the left and right. Also smaller microphone stands in front of one speaker array both left and right. Funny Stephan ask the same question yesterday too. I held the remote because the volume changed on every corps and commercial.

Lots of angry faces and down with the struggle looks. Nothing funnier than someone wearing Woody Allen glasses giving their best angry face, when the only struggle in their life is sharing a bathroom with their brother in their families 4000 sq. ft. home.

BD does for sure and if what I’m hearing about Bluecoats ending is correct they may very well get the gold.

Don’t believe Vanguard is going to be in that conversation. BD without a doubt will.

Brilliant design and magnificently performed production. Everything about this show is remarkable. Certainly one for the ages. BD and Bluecoats will be a great showdown to watch!
