This is not about place. This is about the erratic scoring. How does one go up 2.3 and the other by only .5? From what I hear it was a string performance.

Here is something that seems odd to me about the changes in scoring from the last head to head meeting between Crown and BD (Monday). BD = 91.175 Crown - 89.5 Difference is 1.675 Friday (TN) BD = 93.5 Crown = 90.075 Difference is 3.425 BD improves by 2.325 and DOUBLES the spread. Crown improves by .575 This just seems off to me.

Um... I am going by head to head competition... Remember the last time everyone was together. It was a BIG regional show. And Goes who won brass. They have won brass the vast majority of shows they have been in and have been n. lower than second. THAT is a fact. Comparing scores between shows... oh never mind.

I suspect the CrownBrass might take issue with this statement...

4 days to rehearse changes before the next show. Can’t wait to see what they have in store. Hope to see the gaps close even more on Friday night! Let’s go Crown!

I'll take this show over SCV this year ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. AS others said... the recap is a mess. Music was where we need it to be. Now let's see what else they have up their sleeves. I trust this team and THIS corps and THIS SHOW! LET's GO CROWN!!!!

Nice win for the brass and a solid 3rd in music (should have been second with the Odd MA splits). The 6th in GE and 5th in visual held us back. LET'S GO CROWN!

Tie will tell... I do not think the gap is insurmountable. That said... a lot will have to fall their way. I am not sure the perf score from last night is reflective of where Crown is in perc although I will give you that SCV will win that caption I still see Crown beating them in music. As the visual cleans up we will see if the GE and Vis scores follow. If they do... then they will challenge for the medal. If they don't then you are correct.

Thinking Crown and SCV will be battling for third.

The corps felt the had an excellent run tonight. Looking forward to seeing how the show continues to develop!

There was a lot of grumbling about the Vietnam flag that came out to cover the corps at finals.

They were within a point at the first meeting AND they had a great run! So on that I was correct. The reduction came in a show where there was no competition and no brass judge. And we have the fact they were .05 from 2nd in Music when they were with everyone 2 nights ago. We have three shows in a row to see how things stack up... and I have more than hope... I believe this staff knows what they need to do and they have plans for next week to complete the show... GE will come as the show cleans up. Let’s see where we are on Sat night... so yea... I have much more than hope... they have a great show to refine and a bad a&& drill to go with that musical book.
