  1. After Katy...very comfy. Excited to see what transpires in Massillon tonight or if they decide to perhaps keep something in the Pocket of those baggy pants for Indy.
  2. Very true. And while BD has been cleaning, practicing, drilling, adjusting....SCV is not sitting on their laurels. I think they will come out of the gate w/ a bit more firepower. They were second last year and that equals just one thing that BD might not have given its young corp....HUNGER!
  3. Very true. Some might come from BDB and as BD is a tough corp to make your first time out, I'm sure there are some members that cut their DCI teeth in other groups w/ the hopes of moving to a perennial contender once they have experience.
  4. Katy was a really good show. But we were sitting up on the top row, Side one. There was an AC/blower unit up there that sucked hot air out of the kitchen and blew it on the back of us...and it rattled at awkward moments. So freaking hot...but really enjoyed the corps that performed. Drove to San Antonio right after scores...ugh.
  5. Then this should be a pretty good initiation. Let us know what they thought...as "enquiring" minds want to know.
  6. Very true! The Cavies are performing very well! Boston's show does connect a bit better and for lack of a better word...it's "cute"...predictable and cute. The Cavies are more whimsical and ironic but its a very enjoyable watch. Its just that in 2018, there is a lot of talent on the turf. Cavies actually passed BAC last night albeit by .05, but up is still up! The 4 above the Cavies are just really, really good and the current number one....well they are just on another level completely imo. BD can honk, clean and add all they want...but I don't think there is any way that they can beat Santa Clara...just too much sound, action, talent, music...EVERYTHING!
  7. It won’t freak SCV or the fans of same out. We both know what’s going to happen in Indy, even if it’s hard to admit.
  8. I’m sure INT will be fine. Grueling schedule though, they play everywhere...and multiple times at regionals.
  9. Very true. But it’s artistic expression. I get that it might not be your cup of tea, but those who do it put everything they have into it. Singing, gymnastics, hard hitting drums up front...it’s just corps and directors trying to find the perfect ingredients.
  10. Now this is constructive, you should stick with this line of thought vs. your other mode of thought.
  11. Agreed. With the practices/rehearsals closed to the general public and only open to ummu alumni etc...there is probably more than just cleaning and detail being addressed.
  12. I saw that...from the ballad thru close and definitely worthy of the BLAST zone. They were blowin!
  13. I was wondering that too. Was impressed when BD was first to hit the 94 barrier. Then last night SVC went right by the 94's to a 95.1
  14. Okay, so SVC's Babylon completely skipped over the 94 pt. threshold and went into the 95 area in Chester, PA. Doing the math, there are 4 performances left and the rehearsals/practices are now closed to the general public. Hmmm, something else is afoot here and the only questions are: 1) Will there be anything for the Masillon show or is this for Indy exclusively? 2) As Babylon is at a 95.100 now...how high does it have the potential to go? 4 more performances left and its going to be a really fun run!
  15. All the Cadets healthy again? Heard 3 were held out the last show. I hope they're all Good now.
  16. Well from a judges standpoint, Crown has bested them at least 3 times
