....the number of times I have used YouTube as a reference for how to do something. So many helpful videos out there. One time I bought an 8-drawer IKEA dresser that sat in the box for 2 months. When it arrived, I opened the box, looked at the Encyclopedia-sized instructions, put them back in the box and said "later." After a while I thought that perhaps someone had made a video on how to assemble the thing and sure enough, I found one. Not only was the video helpful (and inspirational), the guy who made it pointed out where the instructions were wrong as well as other helpful hints. Half-a-day later, all done.

I do not get it either.

I had my first dose of Pfizer this past Sunday. My second appointment is scheduled for August 29th. I really hope this gets pushed ahead. A friend in Tokyo is hoping to be fully vaccinated in 2022.

What is really nice about this thread? We are sharing. We aren't arguing. Many people who share the same experiences. Yes, it's off topic for this thread. Yet we prove that we are civil and share many of the same experiences.

I don't think social distancing will go away any time soon. Please excuse me if I have misread your post. If we look at the time frame for what we have been through, I think we will have those who we trust vs. those who we don't trust for a while until studies show otherwise. Every day/week/month we hear new studies on the virus and current vaccines. When I am fully vaccinated, I will still be very conscious about what harm I can bring. This is speculation because at the moment, I don't know. I say this now. Ask me later.
