Last night I noticed differences on the DCP forums on my phone. I started to think Android changed something..... I see them now on my Windows 7 desktop. Was there an update to the forum software? Anyway, the changes are nice, the font is clearer.

Perhaps a darker color might have been better - like green.

It would have been nice if the field in 2004 did not have that large white area along the front sideline. It is really distracting and just enhances all the equipment in the pit. The field itself is nice - no logo in the middle. It's easy to appreciate the visuals even more.

I actually liked '04 Cadets. Here it is on high cam.

A beast of a show. I loved the drill. -
This hamster is still wondering why he was made to go down a flight of stairs in his ball during one such test.

DCI videos on Youtube gone

I'm surprised it didn't get terminated earlier. -
The attached video isn't that great, but it gives a better glimpse of what the horn line was doing in the drum solo after the changes. The tempo in the intro to Tenderland was slowed down a bit from early season.

I need to correct one thing - I was saying that final show flags were not in the above performance. The resolution of the video isn't good but I now realize you had the final show flags....the video makes them look all white at times. I always admired how guard uniforms evolved over the years - the early '80s showing a lot of new direction. BD in '81 (looking like flight attendants), Garfield in '82 (flowers in the hair) and Vanguard The guard uniforms so fit the style of the corps - the detailing on them is really nice. They look very expensive.

There are stages to prove the effectiveness of a solution. To get to that point benchmarks need to be met.

On my Ipod specifically because of Madison. A few other pieces are there also because of Madison. Was '84 the year Madison won best guard?

No matter how hard we wish for a quick vaccine, protocols are in place because of prior experience with the development of solutions.

I was going to say Newfoundland, but the Dominion reference threw me off. We used to have Dominion stores in Ontario. Now I see they are currently only found in Newfoundland. Newfoundland has some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The scenery is also very nice. Our whole east coast is like that.

I wasn't part of Amherstburg. Initially they were the competition until they closed up. Did you know of Jack Jones? At our first competition with them our Director noted how they were using G bugles in their horn line. They were smaller and much more powerful. Strange complaint to be made looking back. Our show was crap. Parts of it were from Star Wars. I remember hearing them off the field as they played and thinking how good they were. I don't remember all the details, but I think there was a protest made with the Canadian Championship board that G bugles could not be used in marching band competitions. This is over 40 years ago. Not sure if my memory is correct, but it comes to mind.

I did not know of Mike Burkett. The marching community was quite small. Everyone knew someone. I had past friends who marched Suncoast, Phantom and Cavaliers. The marching band I was in had instructors from Michigan at one point (the first set of instructors were from Oakland Crusaders). So you crossed the border all the time to attend rehearsals?
