  1. I've been in a lot of ensembles throughout the years and Tek was the only person I've worked with who had "perfect pitch." Myth or not, it's still pretty cool when someone picks a pitch out of thin air and nails the center of the tuner...every time. B)
  2. 1994 BD...trio right before the down ending Roland absolutely laces the SUPER C! I get up cheer & shake my head in disbeleif every single time I watch/listen to that.
  3. Just wrote this big post then deleted it all... '00 aside...I was very disappointed with the '01 brass results BUT winning doesn't make a great hornline.
  4. Awesome... Bringsback memories of many middle of the night bus departures God bless.
  5. Anyone else keep shifting theirs around...this is so hard. 1993 1996 1990 1991 1999 1995 1997 1998 1992 1994
  6. Was there in 2000 - that sort of hurt, even after winning that night with a good show. Anyone remember Giant's Stadium 1995? Madison was absolutely on fire and people even booed there...the Cadets home show that they won convincingly if I remember.
  7. Jeff is absolutely one of the best in the business. At a major like this numbers management becomes very difficult cause all the corps are so good. In the performance captions you get into a touchy situation in that each tenth is really worth 1/3 the value of a GE tenth. So, to really separate corps, a slightly better performance warrants a .3 spread. Although this creates corps sometimes falling out of specific boxes (ie Upper Box 4 vs. Lower Box 5), I think it has to be done to really separate those corps with a specialty in one caption.
  8. Yep - that's Ian Flint, currently on Cadets vis staff. He tuba marched from 1998-2001. I guess he's semi famous now...ha, go figure. Rich Cadet 99-02
  9. Man I wish they didn't replace the old turf...seems like the new stuff only causes problems. It feels like you are marching in the ball pit at McDonalds...I swear!!! Try jazz running into a halt on that stuff...ouch.
