The mass guard weapon/flag stuff is really fun…visually fun, but you can see ANYTHING that is just quite together.

I feel like this show is ahead of last year, and is a lot more difficult; brass book, weapons centric guard, 60yds of polyrhythmic texture (although last year too), etc. “Bump” is this year keytar; this group can really play, much stronger than last year. Best designed show of the year (again, IMHO)….just need something to make it all come together. Crown showed their had first last night (new ending), which pushed them back up on top….wonder when Bloo will show ?

Best run of year for Bloo…cant wait for full panel in SA…some of these scores keep solidifying that i know very little about this sport 🙂

I can't put my finger on it, but something is lacking with this show to me. I feel like it is in Parts 2 and 3 of the show...from the ballad on, it is the best paced and designed show of the year. The opener is fine, but after that, there is......SOMETHING missing, not sure what. I felt that way last year a bit as well, right before part 3. My concentration starts to wander a bit after the mass dance....maybe just me. Also, the scoring last night just further proves that I know NOTHING about drum corps 🙂

These scores just solidify How much I don’t know what I am watching…always been a bad judge.

Holy crap, I LOVE the changes to the ballad and “bump”…can’t wait to see it live! If you haven’t seen it YouTube had a video for Little Rock out there.

Things will tighten up a bit when they are all together in the upcoming days…oh, and the point system still only goes to 100…I look forward to when they are together - then all these caption scores will REALLY show where they all are.
