  1. Can you make this into a poll? Who liked it and going back and who didn't and will not go back? I would like to see the percentages of who went and hated it.
  2. I would say make them the same...just my opinion though. How are you adding folded corps? Just the ones that have made finals or what? Dude this app is wonderful. DCI will probably hire you...
  3. Hrothgar, Word of warning sitting that high in the lower section.... If you sit too high you will be close to the concessions. Last year I sat near there and the noise from passers-by and people ordering food often gets annoying and overpowers the softer sections of music.
  4. looks clear now, down to 60 % chance of rain, mostly scattered.
  5. per DCI's website Glassmen volunteer bus involved in accident Friday, June 26, 2009 - 7:17 AM Drum Corps International has been informed by Glassmen executive director Brian Hickman that the Glassmen volunteer bus was involved in an accident just a little while ago. The driver was taken to the hospital for possible injuries. Three other volunteers were taken to the hospital as a precaution. The corps members were safely sent on to the corps housing site. Those seeking more information about this incident should contact the Glassmen.
  6. cool thanks for that info. I wish they would clarify that on the website...maybe I am just overlooking it.
  7. So are they still making it a prelims- finals type event?
  8. Just got my tickets for DCI Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. Noticed that the start time was 4pm. Now, in the past they have started in the morning and the top 4 corps join the top 8 in the afternoon. My questions are, have they done away with that format and is the 4 pm start time correct? That seems kind of late for 24 performances.
  9. Here are some pics of the expansion project. http://www.jsugamecocksports.com/photo_gal....aspx?gallery=6
  10. Corps are allowed to put in any membership requirements that they feel is necessary. For example minimum age differs from several corps. Also, how about all-male, all-girl, and coed? Its all the same. If a corps wants to add restrictions that go above and beyond what DCI establishes....so be it as long as they stay inside the rules.
