  1. Information noted, Thank You!! After doing a quick search, "Caloosahatchee" is a river in south Florida, so I'm just going to go with that.
  2. I've thought about that but, I don't like messing with historical data. Meaning this year corps "A" competes in this state title, then in the live season when we have more corps they compete in a different state race. I know real corps move around, but it's not very common. We all know that your fantasy corps does not have to reside in the same state that the director lives, my only thing is pick a state and stick with it. A justifiable move....cool....just don't make a habit of moving your corps every season.
  3. Which is why I would like to know where these other corps are from. They may be the 2nd corps needed in some state to have a championship.
  4. I know I’m a slow in getting this out but, things are busy and I barely have time to breathe. Anyway here are the current state championship races, plus corps that I have no home state to put them in. If you are a director of such corps, please post the home state of your corps. If you corps is not listed is because I have your state, but you are the only corps in your state. Need to have 2 or more corps to have a state championship race. 5. I agree seeing as the best corps came in 2nd last season.
  6. Can we get rollover steaks? What happens to the steaks if TT wins? The way I see it, by the time we get our chance to get a nice meal (not that the VK Org. doesn't feed its' corps well) there could be a whole food truck full of steaks to be had. My whole org. could have some, although you would have to cut the memebers of VK³ meat for them.
  7. The 2 VK Org. feeder corps will be there, although we won't need housing, it's a straight shot down the 55 and we're there
  8. Long story short, from what I’ve heard he went to the district with the desire to start a marching band and needed money for instruments. They agreed and gave him money. Then he used that money to buy instruments for Gold. Technically he did start one just not part of Hawthorne High School. So when they saw no marching band, wondered where the money went. Bottom line, he was let go for misuse of school funds.
  9. From a guy who grew up in Harrisburg, PA., I appreciate what you are doing for the youth of central Pennsylvania.
  10. Yeah I was thinking that had that been a real game (VK Org. vs. Nastaglia Music Project), the half time show would have been off the hook.
  11. On the registration page there are 2 corps in World Class with the name Firebird. One from Colorado and a rookie from Arizona. Just want to bring that to Jeff's attention so that there isn't a mix up the data base. Going back in my hole.
  12. Cool thing last season was that each of the corps had it in their possesion at least once during the season. The key is be the last one to have it. What about the new "Knights of Power"?
  13. Well after a fast start at 6-0, the Blue Star Knights went on a 0-5 streak that left with the goal of reaching .500. Well things turned around and the team went on 5-0 to end the season with a League Championship. Nice season guys, having never done this, it makes you watch the games with a whole different perspective.

  15. Not dogging your selections, because they are yours, but the 2 corps that popped in my mind that you seem to have missed would be Florida Wave and Southwind. Both just missing finals with a lower division championship.
  16. Is this the same Ed Roush that marched VK in 90? If so have him send me a note.
  17. Welcome!! Remember, participate and have fun.
  18. Boulder Holders of Sound Lyons, Tigers & Brass Fort Collins Generals
  19. I was a rookie DM with both corps that I marched. Worked out just fine.
  20. There's got to be or should be a place in the HOF for someone like Annie. R.I.P
  21. The Blue Star Knights are 1-0. WOO HOO!!! That's even with having Jay Cutler as my QB. If can just end up .500 I'll be happy.
  22. In the late 80's and early 90's, I'd heard quite a few people refer to VK as "B Corps South", as there were quite a few VK people in the corps.
  23. Not quite, from what I recall having bought both VHS & DVD is that the price has been the same whether DCI was selling VHS or DVD. It has been $96-$99 since the late 80's. So the way I look at it, I'm getting better video quality, better audio, multple camera angles, all for the same price that I got VHS for. Yes it was nice with more extra, but still better than VHS. That being said, are they too expensive, Yes.
