  1. But even if there was no penalty, they would have tied for 2nd. To me that's the more interesting story...
  2. Who knows when those kids will get the chance to see that again. They also did the exhibition last year, so why not take the kids to see something spectacular
  3. Lambertville Volunteers - 1979 - 2003 (I think) Sunrisers 1990-2000, 2002
  4. Al - Chris said that with inflation he'd let it go as high as $15 but NOT A PENNY MORE!!! Very nice to the guy who got 3 for $10 - BRAVO Chris and I will be sitting by our pool in our new home on Sunday night with Hawaiian shirts on!!! Good luck to everyone
  5. 2. Anyone know who marched in the most DCA Finals as a performer (not drum major, or American Section..must be horn, drum or guard)..My bet is on Mike Ryan of the Cabs who marched in 30 straight DCA finals from 1975-2004. I'm thinking Larry Visconti for Sun may be in the running for this. I know he started in 1972...can't remember his last year marching - maybe last year or the year before. 5. Is there anyone out there who marched in all 3 of DCA's worst quagmires..the 1987 DCA prelims, the 1999 finals and the 2006 prelims? ( 2 of them were in Allentown ) I'm thinking Larry again...not sure if he marched last year or not but I know he was there in 87 and 99.
  6. Thanx Shari for getting the word out. As soon as anyone gets any information, please post it here. This is such a shame...
  7. Thanx for putting this up Frank...I was out here to put this up, but glad to see it's here.
  8. Add an * next to the Sunrisers, they've come back twice....
  9. What Terri said! Nice to see some familiar faces back with the corps, as part of the board, teaching, marching! I wish I could be there to see how the open house goes...Larry, Tony, someone take lots of pictures!!! B) b**bs
  10. No - we didn't borrow - they let us have it after Milton 'entertained' them..... Al/Fran - You got the seal of approval from Chris - especially Fran's the colors and everything are perfect!! GOOD Luck everyone!!!!
  11. Thanx for the pictures!!!! I'll have to make sure that Chris sees the picture to get approval, but I'm 99% sure he'll love it your shirt Fran - and yours too Al! Thanx Al - I'll tell Chris you said HEY - maybe I'll even get him to say hey here! His cell is the same LI number... Chris/Rick - The only thing I really remember about 1996 is Milton at the party....and I'll leave it there!
  12. Thanx Kay!!! Can't wait to see the picture!!! I'll be sure to show it to Chris
  13. Al - Chris says thanx for the mention! And remember, no more than $9.99 for a shirt. Eckerts in Wildwood still has them on sale!! Fran or anyone who sees Fran - Chris would like to see pictures of these 'alleged' shirts that would make him proud. He's willing to go as high as $12.99 with inflation but THAT'S IT!! Sounds like everyone had a good time last night - GOOD LUCK to ALL!! Patty & Chris
  14. 1993 mini-corps...The Sunrisers. We weren't great, but it was what kept us going so we could come back in 1994. The two things I remember most about that night was all the alumni that were at I&E sang Battle Hymn with us, and Fran Haring announcing the corps for the first time in competition in 1993....
