This is the reason that I do not post reviews!!! -
I as well looked forward to seeing Ford and Lois along with the rest of the St. Joes family this weekend at St. Joes annual Classic. I use to march in St. Joes baritone section alongside Ford and Lois. A great drumcorps family they are. Ford will be in my thoughts and prayers. Scott

Good Luck to Ghost Riders on Saturday!!! -
I noticed this logo this afternoon during the Syracuse vs UCONN game in the Big East Tourney (BTW, Go SU) looks similar to the DCA logo

an ex-Ghost Rider as well :)

IMHO all of you cry babies need to kick it up a notch performance wise and quit #####ing about others. Star was great, but did not run away with the title. I think the top five mini-corps all had a legitimate shot at the crown

I found it pretty confusing.....Otherwise I would not have asked

Me and my family sat through the entire prelims on Saturday. Yes it was wet for the fans, but the people out on the field gave it their all for our pleasure. We were there to support them 100%. So, as you were "sitting in your truck playing Go Fish, I was rocking out to one of the best shows I have experienced. Especially seeing my brother marching in the Lead Bari Line of the Renegades in his home town was awesome!!! Oh, and is there anybody that actually marched on Saturday during prelims that is complaining?? Didn't think so.... -
Pooh Bear, Miss you here in Rochester Buddy!!! Maybe next year?
-
Hey Richard, Depends on the time of day/night you go whether or not the truck will fit. During the day (avoiding the lunch crowd) shouldn't be a problem. After dark probably not and after 2am when the bars close definately not. Like it has been said on other threads, given our expressway system you will be 15 minutes from everything and anything. MCC to Nick's take 390 N to Lyell Ave exit. Take a left off the exit onto Lyell and about a quarter mile on the right is Nick's. Probably less than 10 minutes. See you Soon Scott

Mini Corps is for the rich only

DCA doesn't charge anything besides the entrance fee of $100 for mini-corps entrance. It is up to each individual mini-corps to purchase the music rights and carry an insurance policy. Judging by the original post, it would have cost that particular group $1000 in order to have everything to enter. This could be due to having numerous pieces of music that they would have to purchase the rights to. I have been told it's about $75-$125 for the license for an individual piece of music. Insurance is like any other insurance you would purchase, it's variable.
