  2. Bumpity-Bump-Bump-bump Still looking for a few Brass players. The Pit perc spot is filled i believe. But I would take one more possibly. The drum line is full, and I'm not too sure on the guard
  3. Not to worry. i think it's been decided to keep them under wraps a little bit longer. But hopefully everyone will pleasently surprised. I know it should make the alumni VERY happy.
  4. Congrats Trinity from Dutch Boy. We look for seeing you on Tour
  5. Far too soon is right. But he has left a legacy- 4 kids marching in corps- Marched with 2 in Kiwanis and taught 2 at Dutch Boy. Mr. Gander, we miss you. I'd like to add Brian and Paul Barr to the list RIP
  6. BUMP! Still need a couple trumpets and baritones, as well as a Pit percussionist. Come check us out! Camp in 2 weeks!
  7. Rob, just to clarify, The marimba spot has been filled, however the pit is still in need of a percussionist
  8. Sound and Yamato. Off to corps camp, best of luck to the final 2 in each division!
  9. Crossing the border is always an interesting thing in drum corps. Last year, each time Dutch Boy crossed into the states, everyone had to get off the buses with everything, luggage included and go through customs. Gone are the days when you'd just be asked your citizenship and off you go. Although it's tough, I don't mind the hold up. I'd rather feel more secure in knowing that the border control are doing their jobs. We may just be a bus load of kids, but you can never be sure.
  10. They are this year. Kiwanis is holding a show in Kitchener. I think 2 or 3 other corps are making the trek to the K-W area. As for Passports, I'm pretty sure Dutch Boy has made it somewhat of a policy for thier members to have them. It does save hassles at the border. I think it's time I invest in one.
  11. it's getting close, but there is still a bit. Dutch Boy is gearing up for a good year. I've also heard great things from HYPE and Blue Saints
  12. My second childhood???? Please Rob, I'm still working through my first :P
  13. Incredible list!!! You definitely know your II/III. I'm really impressed with you selecting Cardinals '94- That was an amazing show. I don't know that I'd take anything away from your list, but I would add Academie 1995 and Kiwanis 1992.
  14. Oh, it's not really the biggest of hills, but it's steep. I live only minutes from there. I love to go sledding there in the winter!
  15. Thank you kindly for the site- they do have them and really cheap too!!! I've been searching for quite some time this was my second option, but I'm not really a craftsman, so I'm sure it would have turned out halfa**ed. Thanks for all the help!!!!
  16. I'm actually looking for one of these. Does anyone have a clue where I might find one? I've been looking into Foley style percussion and still no luck. As for Spooky effects- BD 95 takes the cake!
