  1. If we traded our kilts for pants would we then be called, "The Panties?"
  2. It's really no different than the Kilties playing a MUCH better show on Sunday than Saturday and somehow having the score go DOWN 1.25?!?! As I've been saying for years, judging in this activity is about on par with Olympic Figure Skating judges. It's so subjective as to be ultimately meaningless.
  3. OK, I'll play: Open Class 1. Minnesota Brass 2. Buccaneers 3. Alliance 4. Caballeros 5. Statesmen 6. Hurricanes 7. CorpsVets 8. Kilties 9. Tampa Bay Thunder 10. Renegades --------------------------- 11. Bushwackers Class A 1. Governaires 2. Fusion Core 3. Windsor Regiment 4. Carolina Gold --------------------------- 5. Cincinnati Tradition 6. Arkansas Thunder 7. Shenandoah Sound 8. Sunrisers 9. White Sabers 10. High Country Brass 11. Excelsior
  4. And after further review... THE BEARS STILL SUCK!!
  5. Is there by any chance any museums on the grounds? I know West Point has an OUTSTANDING military museum...
  6. Last night was a classic example of Favre being Favre. I can't count how many times I saw him blow it at GB, course I can't remember how many times I saw him pull it off too. 502 Touchdowns 324 Interceptions.... I guess the chances of a TD are slightly higher than a INT...
  7. I am told that de Meij is not a fan or drum corps and will not allow corps to get performance rights...
  8. Sorry to come across as a pansy, but I fear for El's safety. The TREMENDOUS bloodbath resulting from his impending beat down seems unavoidable... It was nice knowing you EL!
  9. We are so TREMENDOUS.. we were doing Oktoberfest LONG before it became fashionable or even publicly recognized...
  10. To experience the freedom in it's TREMENDOUS totality it is highly recomended that one wear a kilt!
  11. Heck I already have an arrangment of "Happy, Happy, JOY! JOY!" for euphonium ensemble. I suppose I could expand it and write drill to go with it...
  12. Nothing quite says, "High school band," like a nice symmetrical parade block...
  13. Lakeshoremen took the year off. Hopefully they will return.
  14. Blocks and symmetry are so overated. Tremendous Blast was blazing the way with A-symmetrical drill long before ANYONE else....
  15. My first year competing at DCA was 2001 but I made the rookie error of not purchasing a patch. If anyone has an old 2001 DCA patch for sale I would be very interested in purchasing it. Thanks,
  16. It was a pleasure to meet you and the rest of the Scouts. Hopefully we can do this again sometime in the near future. One of my fondest DCA memories of all time was when our drumlines all got together to jam outside the hotel. WHAT A GREAT TIME!! One a side note, what is with all the corps having vehicular troubles this year? Kilties, Govies, now Kidsgrove!??!
  17. I have only two reasons to go to a drum corps show: 1) Meet old friends, 2) Be entertained. For the past 4 years every DCI show I have attended has been at best boring. The shows are magnificiently executed but the overall entertainment factor is only slightly better than mowing my lawn. The sole exception this year was the Madison Scouts (gee whaddya know they were playing a throw-back show!)
