  1. You sir, have obviously somehow not gotten the memo that the corps known to their fans as TREMENDOUS BLAST will be at this parade! You should seriously come listen to the TREMENDOUS sound that this group produces. A fan from 2004 was heard to exclaim, "THAT CORPS!! THEY ARE SIMPLY TREMENDOUS!! Further cementing Tremendous Blast's place in the drum corps world as the most TREMENDOUS corps ever. The TREMENDOUS are far TREMENDOUSER than those other corps that stick to the 1960s traditions of wandering down parade routes in very nice blocks. The TREMENDOUS donot allow themselves to be limited to such symmetric blockiness! So please give in and join those that will be TREMENDOUS for the most magnificent display of drum corps- that which is known to one and all... as TREMENDOUS BLAST!!
  2. The mouthpiece you speak of is here: http://www.loudmouthpieces.com/display_product.php?id=15 They call it the LM-7. It feels and plays just like my helleberg but BETTER!
  3. The Kilties mello line all used Kelly mouthpieces
  4. It is too bad Tiaga is no here for this weekend. He would be TREMENDOUS!!
  5. WE'LL MISS YOU TIAGA!! Dont forget everything we taught you!!!
  6. You wouldn't by any chance be thinking of leaking our TREMENDOUS plan to the public would you?
  7. I cannot find my TREMENDOUS card, but I know it is somewhere! On a side note, is the corps still sponsored by the TREMENDOUS BREWERY also known as Schell's?
  8. Haven't you heard? the corps also known as Tremendous Blast is the highest paying corps in existence! Didn't you get your check last year?
  9. To heck with all that, "I am Spartacus," drivel... It matters not for I AM TREMENDOUS!!!!
  10. I was not involved in the above altercation, nor am I excusing any actions but I would like to comment: I have had negative experiences with the Paeteck park staff for the past two years. I understand that when dealing with a venue the size of Paeteck you need to have some form of organization\ crowd control. That being said corps members in uniform should have the right of way, if not "All access pass." The last thing you should have to worry about after marching your show is, "How do I get out of here, which gate will the security gestapo allow me through? It is what it is, but foremost on my mind. The staff have been downright rude to me personally, and to my corps members on multiple occasions. Even if your enforcing a rule that in my opinion is a major pain in the ###, you can still do it in a professional, respectful if not polite manner. DCA brings a great deal of money to Paeteck park, and Rochester over the 4 years it is hosted there. Having the experience soured by staff with a security shirt and a crappy attitude is not good for the corps members or Paeteck park. Some may disagree with me, but personally I think this could be handled a lot better, and it would not cost DCA or Paeteck a dime. Let corps members go where they need to go. Assuming they have the proper attire\wristband what is gained by making them walk an extra 3/4 mile? We are a drum corps show not a hockey\soccer crowd needing strict crowd control. Having rules simply for rules sake is not beneficial to anyone.
  11. I am the post commander at a VFW in Portage, MI. We are within easy driving distance of Waldo Stadium where DCI Central will be held. I am trying to gauge the interest in whether or not it would be worth our while to host a Pre-show lunch\dinner. It would offer a great opportunity for Drum corps fans to mingle, eat and in general have a good time prior to the night's festivities. If anyone has any suggestions or questions please post them or PM me.
  12. I got the crazy idea that it would be sweet to get a recording of F-tuning (or any key for that matter) ala blue devils and have that as a cell phone ring tone. Does anyone have this, or know where I could find one? thanks!
  13. I am a big fan of yamaha's as well. I played a yamaha bari for 5 years of college and two years of DCA I&E and am very pleased with it.
  14. Calling all trolls! Would it be possible to get a contingent of kilties together to play Syne at bill's funeral? It's just a thought.
  15. assuming my wife is not in labor, i will be there. I will try to find out about the taps issue. I could do it on a bari, but my sop chops are not worthy...
