well..they didnt put the drainage in for cost savings if i remember reading right. look i'm not defending the place. but...if you open it, it has to stay open...and if it rains, the place is ####ed. you cant change the playing field half way thru the show. every corps has to have the same conditions. that's what they have said and so have many others on here. if you're say Colts and you go on with an open roof, then you're say Troop and the roof is closed...it's a very different sound if you're Troop. I kinda see their point.

regionals only is a disaster waiting to happen. you cut off thousands of fans who can't/won't travel hundreds of miles to see a show. you will LOSE customers once the tour stops coming to the few places it has left. DCI is doing a great job marketing to kids. I still feel they are dropping the ball with legacy fans

it would be nice to see 08 and 09 numbers

well, they key may be people on the fence and walk ups. if early tix sales are strong, but die off, then there's an issue

the fear is the place has no drainage system...if it rains, it will be a swamp

actually I don't suck up at all. I'm probably the reason Fiedler and Hop stopped posting here years ago Bob is one of the FEW there I do trust, because he's EARNED my trust over the years...by being a straight shooter. In fact, if you look closely, you'll see Bob has even admitted a few times when they screwed up.

better yet....as someone who was unemployed for part of this year and truly values each and every entertainment dollar I spend, I can pay bills. but thanks for the lecture. I'll see you at Allentown and Indy.

so..$33 to sit on the 50 to see the same corps 2 times and get staff explanations you hope will give meaning to the show. or $50 for two days in Allentown to see all the WC corps. well I know where my money's going

the roar of the crowd in 2000 when Boston started off the telecast, and the crowd "chants" at the Conquest hits the reaction of the crowd for the tie in 2000 the reaction in 2002 when Cavies won 2004 SCV seeing Crown win everyones heart in 2007 Spartacus in 2008.

as I said...they get 2010 to see if it's made markedly better. if not....my season will end at Allentown unless they jack those prices way up

I'll back Bob here. In fact, if not for Bob, I doubt we'd be seeing 75% of what we're seeing from DCI.
