many hornlines of the past were just as musical as what we see now. I think you'd be hard pressed to look at many of the top lines of the day and say they werent musical just because they played G brass. some of the best brass work ever in DCI history was done by BD on G bugles.

while the cost of paying to keep up with the big boys definitely hurt, it isnt the sole reason many corps went out of business.

too soon to tell, but you also leave out mass popularity. better performance quality and technology are good things, but that doesnt always equate to popular. At least 2008 and so far 2009 seem to be generatiing more positive fan commentary towards what they see and hear

because years ago i used to post 100 times day. old math helps keeps the numbers high

true on the bills. however, given how anal stadium people can be about the field, they may not allow that much on the field in one day that isnt a sport. cause you know, those darned marching shoes do so much more damage than cleats

what about a saturday/sunday combo as opposed to 2 in one day? especially if the shows are within reasonable driving distance?
