I realized I care more abour the start of the Premier League season than I do about the NFL.

Gonna have to dust off the ol' transcription chops - found good drumline lot videos of Crown's Danzon from last year. Been wanting to learn this one since I first heard it.

I want one of BDB's snare drums. They're dreamy.

So wait, everyone on DCP has now been accused of hating the Blue Devils, Cadets, Cavaliers, Carolina Crown, SCV, Bluecoats, Glassmen, Crossmen, Spirit, Teal Sound, Pioneer and Blue Knights...? Did I miss anyone?

Paint it Black might be my single favorite song from this summer.

Favorite Phantom uniforms are still the 89-90/93-94/03-05 version.

I dig the Scores module on the side of the page - been wanting to see that for years and years now.

Blue Stars completely blew me away - the last thing I expected to ever say about them.

The season isn't even one contest old yet. Little early to be talking about whether the shows are successes or not yet.

For the first time ever at a live show, I'm not planning on buying any souvies. I'm getting old, I guess. What next - bringing my own concessions?

So far, I think Phantom is winning for best new uniform. Strangely enough, Academy's quasi-mariachi look is a 2nd in my book.

I want flames on my drums, too.

I have really enjoyed the Glassmen the last few years. I think they're doing a good job of adding layers on their shows and keeping them fun to watch.

I think this is the first time the Cavs have ever used green drums. For that matter, they haven't used white in almost 30 years, either.

Chase fatigue, indeed.
