when asked why they said 'band', my friend replied "the announcer has been calling them bands" i am mortified. can we not get people that actually know about the activity to annou,nce at these events?

yeah, they just sent this..."they sounded five places better than mandarins." and in reality, if you look at the rankings on dci.org, they are about 5 or 6 places better. so my friends know more than they think :)

doesn't seem to be much excitement for tonight's show. a shame, too. those are 5 fantastic corps out there. if i lived within a 5 hour radius of that field, i would be there in a heartbeat. but alas, i am about 18 frickin hours away. sad story. good luck to all corps tonight. kick some ### c-bass!!
