Chose it was OK and might buy again... It is a young product with a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see how things progress with a season under the belt. Someone was smart enough to come up with the idea to begin with... Surely they will be smart enough to make improvements and further establish it as a viable product.

NO MORE REMAKES... Take the hint from BD in 2002, Cadets in 2003, SCV 2005. Each of them were OK in their own right, but we need to leave our memories of these shows (which, BTW, will never be duplicated) right where they are... IN THE PAST.

The community as a whole seems to be excited over the fact that the outcome of this season is still fairly unknown... Moreso than any other season I recall (since the late 80s)... Makes the guessing game more fun. So here are mine: 1 - Cadets (Hard work pays off) 2 - Phantom (All about the total package) 3 - Cavies (Really good show... Not "THE" show, but certainly deserves no less than 3rd) 4 - Blue Devils 5 - Bluecoats (Great corps, Great season... Other seasons this could have been 3rd) 6 - Madison (Will be better than previous weeks, but 2 weeks of stagnate performance will catch up... still my favorite Madison show in a LONG time..) 7 - Crown (Close to Madison... As an alum, it is great to see the corps continuous progression!) 8 - Blue Knights (In effort to clean enough to pass SCV, they do so, only to find they have passed Boston as well) 9 - SCV (Late surge... enough to claim 9th) 10 - Boston (Good show, tough competition) 11 - Glassmen (Stuck in 11th...2 points from Boston, 2 points above 12th... congratulations on solidifying finalist status once again!) 12 - Colts (In the end, they just perform better than Spirit or Crossmen) What a fun season!

Phantom has momentum right now and IMO they have the best total package this year... That said, I pick them to pull within a point of the Cadets.

It was in 95... I remember they had a penalty for prelims of POC because of it. Always remember hearing it was a security guard though...

If you look at the recaps, this captions seems to fluctuate a lot for Crown... Personally, I think the slow start (in percussion) this season is the cause. Some judges are calling it as they see it, but some may be relying on recaps from 1-2 weeks ago and normal growth patterns? Not a conspiracy, judging drum corps on nightly basis can get tricky in the numbers area. Obviously this is all just speculation, but the fact of the matter is, this percussion section at Crown has improved GREATLY thus far this season. Maybe they are just starting to see some credit? We'll see. What GREAT season though, huh?
