Are Championships too expensive?
GregGilman replied to drilltech1's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Trivia: Below is the minimum amount each Renegades member paid (out of their own pocket) for DCA weekend: $400: Plane flight $200: Hotel/Transportation $100: Food ---------------- $700 <-------------- Cost of DCA weekend (per member) Renegades did that for 10 years in a row. - Greg -
Greetings friends, Lots of great stuff in this month's issue of SEVEN including a director's report from Chris Nalls (with info about our incredible new guard instructor), a MUST READ note from Kevin Murray about the 2013 drum line, and final details about next weekend's camp and the following weekend's big Chinese New Year parade. Looking for Kanstul "G" Bugles
GregGilman replied to MSJ Snare's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
FYI: Renegades is selling Santa Clara Vanguard's old G-Kanstul bugles for them. Last count, I believe we have several Sopranos, Mellophones and French Horns available -- possibly some Euphs. If interested, write us at info@renegades.org. See you on the 50, - Greg -
Heh. With Saturday night's SCV Cadets show happening about 10 minutes from my house, the party is most certainly ON! And no, we won't feature a DJ this year -- so the cops don't show up.<grin> But we will have plenty of refreshing beverages, drum corps DVDs and friends! Fantastic news about the Kingsmen! And with Freelancers also performing a standstill at the Renegades show on July 19, we'll have four all-age groups performing! Woo hoo! See you on the 50, - Greg
-
Thank you, Dave! Very much appreciated! See you admiring our new uniforms, - Greg

Best thread ever. <grin> And to the couple of individuals who have made modest donations to the Renegades Uniform Capital Fund, thank you! See you on the 50, - Greg

We plan to bring a few extra contras for out-of-towners. To verify we'll have a horn for you, please send email to info@renegades.org. In other news, it looks like the rain will be hitting the bay area on Friday instead of parade day! Keep your fingers crossed! See you on Treasure Island, - Greg PS: And no, it's not too late to sign up! -

We've had people purchase shirts at Kohls before. Basically, it's just a plain red shirt with a collar. Hope that helps. See you at the parade, - Greg
