I have always thot the premieres were done well. This one was just off.

I still think Flo was behind the cameras for the premiere. I will probably pay for a show to watch a show then go from there. Last year was not so good(for me anyway).

I contacted them about the full schedule and got an email that made me iffy to subscribe. They said the schedule had not been completely finalized..Are you kidding me ? How long has DCI had their schedule out ?

Oh God..I have lost my mind...

I can tell you. The ballad sounded not so good with the trio at IWU(it sounded out of tune and I had recurring thots of 2017), the theater sound was awful. Believe it was redeemed by the YouTube video I saw today-I loved it but want more. Still not liking the staging of part of the guard behind the prop set up towards the end of the show.

It’s funny you say that because when I went to a ST ensemble- I thot this show had a total BD vibe with a Bloo twist. I thought some are going to dig this and others are going to hate it straight out of the gate.

I kept scratching my head and thinking..Why the heck did they let Flo do the camera work. May not have been, but it sure had their signature.

I thought the same about Phantom....it seemed like the props and guard appear to be an afterthought. The brass lacks that lustrous full Phantom sound that has made me listen endlessly to just their show music from several of those years. I feel they are in an awkward “how do we do this phase”. The visual just was not good. I am hoping they can crank things up though.

It’s so early. I love drill and by far I thought they had the best. Seems like that does not count for much these days (or doing much of it). With some tweaks, they will be top 5. For the beginning of the season, I like the bones of the show and this will only get better.

I hate to harp, but quality wise this was the worst broadcast by far DCI has done for a premiere. The camera angles, the broadcasters still talking as the shows began. To top it all off, the theater I sat in made all the brass lines sound meek. Rant off,..just glad the season has begun !!!!!!!!!!!

They did not really show Bloos ending..it needs and will get an edit.

I heard that in their preview and tried to see if I could see if there was a singer. I liked the tune, not so sure about the singing quality (I will give spacious room though to sound quality making it sound not as good though).

I am okay with that. June rehearsal videos, plus not good sound, don't really give a good indication of anything really... It made the little boy insde of me excited though.

I will second that you are deserving. I may sound a bit PollyAnna, but we are all deserving of good and you are no exception !!!! I think it’s so awesome what you are doing and with such a great organization and you - deserving of each other !!!!

They did not let up this year. I like Rite.....love the pyamids.
