In my view, this is not a theme or story show, its a concept show, designed to create a mood in the viewer.... just like when you drink absinthe, it affects you and every person differently... how does it make you feel after you drink and take it in ...a different answer for each person... thats the genius of this show

These TikTok clips are great!! looked at them all form the start of the season. Wunderbar!!! Especially liked the Blue Stars members reaction to the address to them from Phill Lewis from the suite life on deck

yes, percussion on a whole seems to be at a much better place... Several drum features in the show. Staging takes on a modern contemporary drill design with drums and all facets/sections of the corps....not to mention beautiful seamless transitions... should be a fun one this year!!!!

their show this year is nothing like the Blue Stars have ever done!!!!, futuristic, modern, contemporary, adult, forward and driving with unbelievable staging in motion with an avant guard feel and approach. And those horns.... ohhhhhhhh la la, smoking!!! This is not your traditional Blue Stars and nothing to be underestimated or taken lightly. Must be seen live to be appreciated in its fullest!!!!!, on the edge of your seat...bet against them at your own peril.

The show was art, class, poetry, and musicality in motion. A sophisticated, mature show that may not be fully appreciated by non musicians. They made some really difficult musical moments look sooooo easy, fluid and flawless!!! Great Job Blue Stars!!!

This thread should be at the top of everything. No matter the score, shows, good bad and everything in between, this is what drum corps is REALLY all about in my opinion; nothing else really matters, . .... teaching life experiences, learning about yourself, finding and following your passion. All else really doesn't matter. Drum corps is merely just the vehicle.

Hopefully the show is not cancelled due to rain/storms. Would be nice to have one more score going into Indianapolis. Cadets have had a show last night and again tonight. Would be nice to see where judges would put Blue Stars going into finals week.

I don't think Blue Stars taking 6th is a slight possibility or delusional at all. I think Blue Stars have a really decent chance of overtaking Cadets finals week. Less than half a point separates them currently and each time they have met head to head throughout the season Blue Stars have narrowed the gap!

For now!!! I will take Blue Stars within less than a half point going into Indi. There is still a week left, a lot can happen. I believe this battle will go down right to the end/last day

Well, time will tell regardless of what happens tonight. There is still a week left and think this may go down to the last show between the Blue Stars and Cadets. All is fun, and all are truly winners in the end. The talent and fortitude of all the corps are outstanding and champs in my book!

agreed, and every section in different colored uniforms, some build alliances with each other, along with the back and forth of the horns playing from one side to the other. You cant really hear the battling horns side to side unless you are there live, it really sticks out vs. hearing it on line.

the end zone to end zone coverage several times in the show is something to behold when hearing it live, surround sound wall of sound, gorgeous!

No, Im looking in the right direction..... clearly straight ahead. Im not looking in the back seat for anyone or anything... The only thing you get when distracted with something in the back seat and not keeping your eyes on the road ahead of you is an accident/crash!!!!!!!!! Good luck to the Cavies, hope they are able to hold their own and come out on top of the Mandarin, Phantom, Cavies battle.

Looking forward to seeing the battle between Blue Stars and Cadets tonight. At their last show (at different shows) Blue Stars scored 90.7, Cadets 90.45. Can Blue Stars come out on top tonight or keep it very close going into finals week? Also interested to see what the Cavaliers score. Do they maintain their essentially 1 pt. lead over the Mandarins and Phantom??

Way to go Blue Stars!!! Congratulations on breaking 90 tonight in Centerville (90.7) and going into Allentown for a showdown with the Cadets (who scored a 90.45 tonight). I believe this battel is just starting and will probably not be settled until Saturday night in Indianapolis. At this pace, Blue Stars are on track to be the highest scoring Blue Stars corps in their history!!!

Excellent show Blue Stars!!! with a 90.7, and Cadets, although at a different show, scoring 90.45, puts Blue Stars ahead of Cadets going into Allentown. Allentown will be a head to head show down for sure. As I have said all along, there is a battle brewing between Blue Stars and Cadets that probably wont be settled until the last night in Indianapolis.
