dccorpsfan
No, I wish. Just listening to some shows so much that it's ingrained in my head. Yeah, that's how I am. I wish I had perfect pitch, though.

JMS0527
How so, Mr. Music Student? It generally sucks if you hear something in a key other than the original...I'm pretty much able to overlook that with drum corps (though '95 Phantom doing the Rachmaninoff Rhapsody in F wasn't the best choice) You learn that cassette tapes do actually vary a little in speed which obviously affects pitch...thus it's grating... When I was searching for a new car 5 years ago, I test drove a Honda...in the event I couldn't find an affordable car with a CD player, I brought along a cassette tape dub of the Dvorak Piano Quintet in A simply to test pitch...in this particular car I was listening to the Dvorak Piano Quintet in Bb...no way would I be able to deal with that Yes you're reading this right....my ear is a factor in choosing a motor vehicle...I'd say that's a downside, but it's true nonetheless
mcktenor13
...When your iPod has it's own DCI playlist...When the majority of the music played in your car, is DCI That is true right there...especially on the way to shows.
CoHmempho04
To the top scores list on myspace. I have one on my facebook. -Bust out laughing because you just remembered something that only the people that marched that year would understand and everyone looks at you like your the craziest person on Earth. -Your corps group on your AIM is larger than your normal friends list. -Your first thought when you start to date someone is "Would they like drum corps?" If yes you introduce them to drum corps. If no you dump them!

Cardman
lol...great thread. Here are the ones that have been mentioned that I am guilty of: 1. Listening mostly to drumcorps in the car 2. I always "step off" on my left foot 3. I walk in step with others walking next to me without thinking about it (sometimes I do it intentionally...it just bugs me to be out of step lol) 4. I can identify pretty much any show from 1987 to present just by listening to the first 3 seconds or so I am a drumcorps dork and have come to accept this fact. :) Another good one might be: You have specific drumcorps (e.g.The Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, The Cavaliers, etc...) as your myspace friends (guilty of this one, too...)
