chadwick
I am pulling for Blue Stars myself, but really enjoyed Glassmen's show too. As was pointed out on another forum, the last time that neither Crossmen or Spirit made Finals was 1976. Kind of hard to believe that we might not see one corps give a tribute to the other at retreat as we have for the past several years. jcn8
I know there’s a lot of love (and wishful thinking) for Blue Stars, but to the extent I worry that Crossmen’s chances might be spoiled by lagging scores in the music captions, I am equally concerned that Blue Stars’ scores in the visual captions will hold them back. When I saw them in Allentown, I thought they sounded great, but the visual package was (IMO) not on a par with the other corps contending for a top 12 spot. A fair comment, but keep in mind that they had just put in substantial changes to the show just a couple of days before Allentown, including new music. They were substantially better in Atlanta (though they had an off night), and were better still in San Antonio (and still have cleaning to go on the ending). CHSnare
I think the Scouts can actually pull it off. If they keep cleaning and changing things like they have been I really think they might be able to squeak into finals at the 12th spot. the hammer
Hoping for those San Antonio Crossmen, but my bias should be noted, also.

the hammer
Since I didn't see the thread recently, here's my two cents as to what's going to happen. (no big surprise) Top 3 - BD, Cavies, Cadets 4-7 - Coats, SCV, Phantom, Crown 8-9 - BC, BK 10-12 - The Academy, Stars, Crossmen 13-15 - Glassmen, Spirit, Scouts Hopefully, Crossmen will peak! Have Faith!
