Guard Diva
used in A League of the Own, Carole king's Now and Forever.... Now and forever you are a part of me And the memory cuts like a knife Didn’t we find the ecstasy Didn’t we share the daylight When you walked into my life Now and forever I’ll remember All the promises still unbroken And think about all the words between us That never needed to be spoken We had a moment Just one moment That will last beyond the dream Beyond the lifetime We are the lucky ones Some people never get to do All we got to do Now and forever I will always think of you Didn’t we come together Didn’t we live together Didn’t we cry together Didn’t we play together Didn’t we love together And together we lit up our world I miss the tears I miss the laughter I miss the day we met And all that followed after Sometimes I wish I could always be with you The way we used to do Now and forever I will always think of you Now and forever I will always be with you
Laurakemb
Easy. Coldplay's "The Scientist". I haven't been able to listen to that song without crying and thinking about my Jonz family since 2003. It's the second to last song on our pit video (Clowns is last, of course). We listened to music while loading/unloading the truck, and we always forgot to bring new CD's to the truck. Coldplay was in there for about 2 weeks, and we all got really attached to this song. We also went through an emo Dashboard Confessional phase, but luckily Radiohead saved us. :P Just a little snippet of lyrics: Nobody said it was easy It's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be this hard Oh take me back to the start

Practically perfect. Makes me REALLY REALLY wish I was going to SCV's 40th Anniversary banquet. "We had a moment... Just one moment That will last beyond the dream... Beyond the lifetime We are the lucky ones Some people never get to do all we got to do Now and forever, I will always think of you" I remember when I first saw that movie and TOTALLY identifying with the whole concept - then the reunion scene at the end just wrecked me completely. Here's a link to a website that has a wav of this song for anyone who's needing a good cry. I've been having serious allergies the last week, so I can blame my current state on that... Cache_Money
This one has always reminded me of corps too. (The "he" being the corps.)Lyrics from "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. "He slept a summer by my side. He filled my days with endless wonder. He took my childhood in his stride, but he was gone when autumn came." Hmmm...the corps seduced you, took your virginity and abandoned you, leaving you to raise your illegitmate child alone? :P

leadsop97
That Carol King song is amazing. I love her stuff. Greatest part is that I go to school with her grandson. :)
