In 2003 the guard ageouts tucked a small piece of their feather into their hair or uniform, so it wasn't visible or barely visible. The guard all wore their stars to finals retreat, and the guard ageouts put the piece of their feather behind their stars, much like the front ensemble does. All the guard ageouts probably had small pieces of their feather tucked in their uniforms.

This is DCP, of course someone will fault them.

I find it entertaining when people say things like this. Guess what? EVERY corps is doing the exact same thing this week. Cleaning, and adding in those last minute extras to push them over the edge. I believe BD will come out on top this year, but I also hope Crown and SCV can surge a bit. Either way, it's going to be a very entertaining weekend!

BK 2002. We came back from a very disappointing 2001 season with a much better show, and made it into finals at the major regionals. Magic made finals at the show that counted, though. DCI has since changed that rule, thank goodness..... too little too late for BK 2002, though. I was completely stunned when we didn't make finals. Never even saw it coming. So yeah, I've been there. It sucks, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I literally yelled at my computer when they zoomed in on cymbal guy. I was in the pit. SCV's pit. But I certainly don't want a closeup of cymbal guy during a company front! That's just bad decision making on the producer's part. BAD producer!

Just got home, watched SCV. HORRIBLE shot selections. Not sure who was in charge of that, but it is complete fail. Oh well. Love the new ending! Now time to watch Crown.

I sat in both front and back during my 4 years, and I VASTLY preferred the front. It didn't smell as bad, the A/C worked better, you could get off the bus quickly when it came to stops. My last two years I specifically requested the front.

I HATED BUS FEET. I hated them so much, I almost didn't come back to drum corps for my final years. I even kept an extra pillow in my bed roll to prop my feet up when we got floor time. Bus feet are the devil. That is all.

I personally voted for BD as strongest and Bluecoats as weakest. I really don't like BD this year, but I recognize that it's very strong design. Just not my personal cup of tea. As far as Bluecoats, I enjoy their show but can see that their design isn't on the same level as the rest of the top 6. Just my opinion.
