xbones7480
Maybe they charged a penalty for longer air time. People probably left the theaters after they found out the field had to be re-lined. There's only so many $7.00 sodas one person can drink. It's now 12:37am in Pennsylvania; I'm sure there are a lot of tired folks in those theaters. Ben
I have no doubt that Cadets' score is a result of a timing penalty for time they gave up during the field lining. Since it's just quarterfinals, George Hopkins wouldn't mind giving up a couple points. if they took a gigantic timing penalty, why would brandt crocker be announcing that they're taking a break to line the field? whitedawn
cadets got a 2 point penalty.

old drmmjr
It's all a mind trick the cadets had planned to psych out their competitors!..j/k
cavies79
for the anti-cadet fans, they better hope it wasn't a penalty, because if it is, then semis and finals will change, so all those Phantom fans and Cavies fans better watch out tomorrow when the Cadets and Devils square off...to claim 1 and 2. I bet there wasn't a penalty. Why would George call his corps off the field to re-do the marks. I am thinking that was DCI's doing because maybe there marks missing. I really think this wasn't George's doing. I might be wrong. Why are so many of you negative to the possibility that both Cavies/Phantom have improved that much? Both corps are as talented as BD and Cadets. So, there is always that possibility that both Cavies/Phantom are now performing better. If BD wins, my hats off to them. But, I still wouldn't count either Cavies, Phantom, or Cadets out.

DCM
I bielieve ( no pun intended) that the rules state a .1 penalty will be issued for every 10 ( might be 20) seconds late from your step off time. Bad decision i think on Georges part.... depending on traffic for the corps, they will be on at least 34 mins earlier than they should of been tomorrow. Tekneek
So, either there is no penalty, or George Hopkins called his own corps off the field to take a timing penalty. I guess we'll see what the person who jumped all over me earlier has to say about it when the recap comes out.
