ruag8tr2
Congratulations to the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps for earning the Gold Medal this year. I know you definitely earned it on the practice field because that Surf was definitely hot and Teal wasn't too shabby. D
DCI_Dadx2
I love that. Medals are earned when the stands are empty.

crfrey71
Great job by all the corps yesterday. It was very hot on the field and the corps bought some of their own heat with what I witnessed yesterday.
Caesar
It’s amazing how many people talk poorly about Spartans, and now that they have won none of them can congratulate them.
leadsop97
I don't know anyone who talks poorly about the Spartans. I mean, people may talk about their material, but I don't think anyone could ever deny their level of achievement year in and year out. I may not like a Spartans show (which I did this season, favorite since 2004), but they are #### good every year. so once again, congratulations to the Spartans on winning another East Coast titan showdown. I haven't seen too many people talk poorly about Spartans...
guardmom13
I was there in the heat and the Spartans marched fierce! They needed to do that to win. It was a tight race and I honestly didn't know which way it would go when they started awards. Surf had a great show this season and I hope they continue to do well. Teal got Spirit of Disney and that was great to see, especially since our kids started out there when Teal was Div 3! They had a great show too and I wish them continued success as well. It was an emotional summer with our son aging out, my husband retiring from the Navy, a move, etc. I was so thankful to be in Pasadena to see it all. Now I can't wait for next season. LOL I'm hoping to be in Indianapolis next summer. Guardmom13
noduttingoutloud
You mean they marched "fiercely", correct? One can not march "fierce". I was there in the heat and the Spartans marched fierce! DCI_Dadx2
You mean they marched "fiercely", correct? One can not march "fierce". Both cannot and can not are acceptable spellings, but the first is much more usual. You would use can not when the 'not' forms part of another construction such as 'not only'.
