PercussiveEric
I'm gonna say for me its a tie between 2003 and 1992. I'm a music kinda guy, and for me those years were just plain awesome. What about you guys?
CROSSMENCORPS30
1988 ALL THE WAY! Even though Crossmen were 14th I still enjoyed 1988 the most. For me, the best top 3 of all time.......

dugada
1982. Very strong field top to bottom. Last year of the full tick system which translates into corps with different identities before the great homogenization that subjective judging brought. Not saying it was a bad thing for expanded design concepts, but it did tend to kill diversity of design between corps.
Willie85
Probably age-out year bias, but I gotta go with 1985: Cadets – Jeremiah opening hit, making history Vanguard – Festive Overture running pants change, Tenderland company front BD – Bari solo, the first First Circle, bring on the butterfly wings! Madison – Rhapsody in Blue, 'nuf said Cavaliers – Hey, these guys are serious! Suncoast – in peak form with Florida Suite Spirit – makes Concerto in F their own Phantom – in 10th ?! Trooper – finalists! Star – finalists first year out!! Velvet Nights – Velvet Nights!!!
the hammer
My top 5, in order. 1. 1978 - SCV becomes the first corps to win title 3X. 2. 1980 - BD/27th Lancers right down to the wire. Bridgemen and Spirit, also. 3. 1988 - Madison upsets SCV (the better Phantom show) and an undefeated BD. 4. 1992 - SCV's last Bottle Dance and GR's retirement/Crossmen. 5. 1981 - SCV recovers from 7th in 1980 to win
