Incognitus
Hello everyone. This is a FRIENDLY announcement: December 2nd and 9th are WORKSHOPS 12-8pm December 16th 12-8pm are the AUDITIONS Brea Olinda High School 789 Wildcat Way Brea, CA 92821 We will be competing in the OPEN Class Division. The tour will be all the SoCal shows plus the "Focus" show up North. Tour fees are soon to be announced. You must be a member of The Music Life alongside of being a corps member. The cost of The Music Life is $25 a month and you may participate in any or all other programs that is affiliated with The Music Life. We are here to provide the youth with opportunities. Come and support! Who is Incognito? What are they about? What's the show? Who's on staff? Who is Incognito? Incognito is any one of you that believe in the art of performance and music. Not worrying if the staff are world famous composers or performers. Incognito is about opportunities and giving everyone the chance to better themselves through the world of drum corps. Incognito started off as an indoor winter percussion group and this year has launched the Incognito Winter Guard. We will also field a corps this summer. Incognito is about focusing on performance and the art of music, not about who is on staff or who's marching. We wear masks to seal the identity of the performers on the field for that very reason. All members of Incognito has an Incognito Name. This name is chosen by the members themselves. It's their only identity on the field. This year's show is called, "The World of Incognitians." Original Music by: Incognitus "We all are different and come from different walks of life. These people all come to a place where they can share the love, the love of performing music. These people all work as one and make this place called Incognito. This family is now known as Incognitians. Welcome to our world, World of Incognitians." Who's on staff? The staff is made up of a family who all love music and want to provide the opportunities for the youth just like all of their teachers once did for them. This is their way of paying tribute to their mentors. www.themusiclife.org

neholgate
Best of luck to you guys! The more corps in So Cal, the better. It would be nice to have as much as we used to in the early 70's...back when corps didn't need to do a huge tour to be competitive. We had plenty of competition in our own backyard! So how many active corps (Sr and otherwise) do we have now here?

Incognitus
Thank you for the nice words of encouragement and support. "Focus" show. It's going to be a show for the corps that might or might not make it to Championships because of how expensive it is to travel. It's like a championships but not. We would get patches and everything. It's a really smart and great idea for us corps that are starting out or for corps that may not go to Championships. I have to say. I really love how DCI make opportunities for everyone and guides us in the direction to perform and put on shows. We welcome all the support for the love of this sport. -Incognitus
