Jim Dugan, JR Bechtel and Scott Marshman were awesome to work with in creating this show and the members of the Corps worked their collective tails off! I just loved the way the brassline laid it on the line from the opening moments and the Ballad "First Contact" was one of my favorites ever to arrange. That was the first use of Bb horns on the field as we had a flugel solo/duet (that's right Jeff....flugels!) in that number by two great players, Dave Minero and James Coolbaugh! That show really "told the story" of man's ventures into space. Great stuff. My personal "top of the list" for the decade so far: 2005 Buccaneers. Others, off the top of my head: 2002 Brigadiers, 2000 and '04 Empire Statesmen, '06 Caballeros, '03 Renegades. Probably more that I can't think of right now.
