It was located between Utica and I87. It was in fact, located in Gloversville, NY. They were known as the Yellow Jackets and Joe Chisek is in that picture. Here, let me quote him! "Yes Nancy, I am in the Picture and it was taken in Gloversville at The Estee Junior High School Gym, I am in the first horn row behind the drummers and the 5th from the left. You notice on the Bass Drum, State Champions ,Sponsored Class...We won that title in Syracuse, we could not compete in the Regular division because we had a girl color guard.
