gsksun4
Little OT here: Since we're talking French Horn players, Ray P. or Andy, do you know when Pepe stopped marching for Sky? I heard a 68 Dream recording (Think it was concert) with someone tearing it up on French or mello or both. I know Chuck Ohlmiller marched 68 because I saw him at Mission Drums, but I doubt it was him. Sounded like Pepe.

I was overseas but I thought I was told that Pepe was still out there in '72 during the traffic jam?
ajlisko
Pepe's last year marching was 1970 ... that was him in 68 playing the solo in Sing, Sing, Sing ... his last solo with the corps was Aquarius :-)
gsksun4
Thanks guys. That unmistakable sound still in the memory banks. I wonder if his Carnegie Hall "Sunny Side of the Street" performance, what was it, 63 or 64, is around somewhere?

Loved that piece - used to play it both on baritone and french horn in I&E back in the day, but I could never make it sound like Pepe. Good memories. My next guess on the CT area french horn pictured: Can't think of anyone...

Allow me to help: Roseanne Barr was once married (1990 to 1994) to someone famous, who's last name is the first name of the current feature. Oooh - it's coming - Arnold... Arnold Schwartzenegger? I didn't remember them being married... You sure they weren't just fooling around while he was married to that Kennedy cousin, Sergeant Shriver or whatever her name is?

No, but the two Arnold's we mention were together in the film True Lies. Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger being married to Roseanne Barr would be a contradiction in fitness terms. At least back then it would. The Schwarzee is a tad puffy these days. Edited September 22, 2014 by gsksun4
Fran Haring
The Schwarzee is a tad puffy these days. Isn't Cialis supposed to help that?
rayfallon
Isn't Cialis supposed to help that? Arnold Schwartzenneger takes Cialis? No wonder both Roseanne Barr and Sergeant Shriver dumped him! Back to der Vaterland for you, puffy boy!
