John Mayer
Dear drum corps land The Govies are hard at work, just like everyone, trying to plan the greatest drum corps show known to mankind. So my question to you is this, how does your corps choose a show title? AND does it really make a difference? My guess is, "What title will sell the most T-shirts" OK,,,,GO! CorpsBuff
Chops INC has always had the best show titles I can remember. I think that "Your ad here" would be a great title!
John Mayer
I guess I want to know if the members of your corps have any input or are you (as regular Joe member) given the title and away you go?
WayBackBuc
Way cool! How about “Drum Corps just the way you like it, LOUD” or “Spectacular Spectacular”!? Or I don’t know,,, just make it good so we, the paying public can enjoy it! b**bs
Fran Haring
"Not the Nutcracker" is a guaranteed winner. B) Fran
cabalumnidrummer
Just a wild guess here, but I'm thinking no one in DCA will be using 'This, I Believe!' for a show title any time soon! Actually, Fran's is kinda cool.
Fran Haring
Actually, Fran's is kinda cool. LOL....... "Not the Nutcracker" was the title of the 1995 Santa Clara Vanguard's show. IMO, one of the most bizarre drum corps shows I've ever seen. Not that there's anything wrong with that! :P Fran Edited November 1, 2007 by Fran Haring

The audience members get to dance out the parts. Should be an absolute hoot!

This just came up for us over lunch a couple of weeks ago, thirty years too late. There were a couple of questionable decisions made back then, and Bucky Swan asked us why we didn't say anything. We were kids, we reminded him On show titles, if the Saints ever put together an Alum corps, I would suggest "Not your kids' drum corps." jo
