JDWEX1117
sorry for doubleposting. I'd love to see a Jaga Jazzist show (that would be a championship show, Im sure of it) Opener- Animal Chin 2nd Tune- Press Play/Day/Another Day Ballad- All I Know Is Tonight/For All You Happy People Closer- Mikado/Oslo Skyline or a Boards of Canada show (probably not a championship show, but I'd love to see it). weedyweidenthal
I was thinking about this a little today... I would like to see a Carmina Burana show. It'd be hard to pick which parts to play though. Have any junior corps done that? -Weedy edit- nvm I just found the answer to my question on corpsreps Edited December 29, 2007 by weedyweidenthal

Bob J
How about Emerson Lake and Palmer? I know some of their work has been done in the past (Blue Devils - Karn Evil 9 and Emerson Piano Concerto, Freelancers (and others) Toccata) but now that electronic instruments and amplified solo voice are (or will soon be) legal, picture this: Brain Salad Surgery - The music of Emerson Lake and Palmer Opener - "Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression - Part 2" (Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...) with amplified solo voice covering the lyrics for the first minute or so. Ballad - "Still...You Turn Me On" Great solo brass opportunities followed by... "Toccata" complete with mucho amplification of synthesizers and lots of tympani. The back and forth between the brass and synthesizers, the driving tempo, great drumline material! people would either love it or hate it! Has Cadets written all over it. baristeve
Opener - Jaga Jazzist - DayBallad - Either Radiohead - Sit Down. Stand Up. or Miles Davis - Prayer (Oh Doctor Jesus) Closer - Minus the Bear - Dr. L'ling These threads pop up all the time, but they're kind of fun to mess around with/dream about. you have good taste in music.
