Vanguard07
I would take a Big CC Orchestra Horn over a sousaphone/contra any day. I love contras and they serve their purpose in marching ensembles. However, I'll take that beautiful York sound.

MBbabe
If Seuss made an horn... I only have two questions to ask. Can you play it in the key of G and can it be used to double your mellophone parts?
HornsUp
Can you play it in the key of G ? The G attachment is a factory option, but it makes the instrument cumbersome because it adds 20% more tubing.
TheBigOne2
I have played on all of them and I really don't like sousaphones.
susanryan62
The Contra is the best!
Shadow_7
Aside from that trombone slide part. Isn't that horn legal to use at DCA? I mean it is bell front, Not that it matters much which direction it's pointed to be bell front. Although with that much tubing, a trombone slide might only affect the pitch by 1 whole step.
