Donny Drum Corps
I was thinking that maybe it was Andy Reid or Mike Holmgren posing as Jim Allen. Donny
ywpkm0
I'll put you all out of your misery... It's Bill Polian, the Pres./ GM Indianapolis Colts and previously the Buffalo Bills. In 1990 (and also 1995) I was the Chairman of the local organizing committee for the DCI Finals in Buffalo. Initially we didn't get a very good reception from the Bills re using the stadium; they were pretty surly. But about a week later I received a call from their front office saying that they's "love to work with us on bringing the championships to Buffalo." The next time I went to the stadium to discuss the event, Bill Polian was there and he apologized for the less than gracious treatment we originally received. He said he couldn't wait for Finals (which was a year in the future). He told me he marched for a couple of years with a junior corps in New Jersey and he loved the activity. And during the 1990 championships, he was there for quarterfinals, semis, and finals. That's a great story Jim Steve
